The town of Yayli is a small port posted on the edge of the long beach. It is the starting place for anyone entering the region as well as it has a fairy system to the small isles that surround the mainland. A Pokemon Lab nestled at the center of the town is where all new trainers can receive their first Pokemon.

q posted in Out across the endless sea (Mod/closed) Nov 14, 2015 11:33:58 GMT -5
The long beach is a very large sandy strip of land that seems to stretch on as far as the eye can see. Trainers must choose between the left path and the right path in order to reach Route 1 for a large cliff created from a long series of earthquakes blocks the way.

nyx posted in Where's That Pokémon! [Mod/Open] Nov 27, 2015 10:08:46 GMT -5
Upon reaching the top of the cliffs trainers can finally set course on Route 1. This simple route is easy traveling with tall green grass licking at every passengers legs. The lush fields that border this route offer quite a few grass Pokemon for any trainer that may fancy it.

Crystal City is the largest city in all of Rakuen. It hides in the shade of large cliffs and overlooks the Crystal Bay, the very bay that it was named after. The city contains a second Pokemon Lab for those who do not wish to journey all the way to Yayli. As well as it has a port that can take trainers to any of the various smaller isles. Finally, it hosts the first gym that new trainers see on their journey.

While some portions of Crystal City may need lights on all the time, the bay is in constant sunlight. The waters are clear and blue, giving it the name of Crystal Bay. Plenty of trainers come to simply relax and enjoy the cool waters while others come to catch some water type Pokemon. Regardless of the motives, it is a great place to spend some time.

Noe posted in Always with the catching of the pokemon (mod/open) Nov 17, 2015 11:24:28 GMT -5
Route 2 leaves Crystal city and heads to the direct south in the direction of Dizhen City. The route barely grazes the forest but still offers some of the woodland Pokemon as well as a mixture of Pokemon from the plains. It is the central trade route between the two cities though, often making it crowded and noisy.
|
||||||
Route 3 heads due west from Crystal City in the direction of Moroii. Its a very grassy route, similar to Route 1 though what lies ahead of it is not as friendly looking as the journey from Yayli town.

q posted in Noooo!! [Misdreavus Encounter] Nov 6, 2015 11:48:16 GMT -5
Finally, Route 4 also leaves Crystal City though this route heads generally north. It is the only way to avoid paying ferry costs in order to get to the isles. And truthfully, it only gets trainers to Pacu Island. The route follows the shore offering plenty of flying and sea Pokemon.
|
||||||
Noe posted in Attacked by Candy! [Shuppet Encounter] Nov 13, 2015 13:13:46 GMT -5
The outskirts of Moroii are covered overgrown grass, causing the city to look as if it were abandoned a while back. Once inside the center of the city though it is a busy place. Many trainers are simply just stopping through for the gym and the Contest Hall before they head off to their next unknown destination.

The Shallow Sands are the last stop before exiting the mainland to Pacu Island. A small Pokemon Center sits on stilts to assist anyone in need. The Shallow Sands were often overlooked before the Pokemon Center was built due to the fact that almost every wave washes all the way to where the grass ends on Route 4.

Route 7 is considered the last part of the grassy northern Rakuen. Many trainers linger here just to enjoy the grass while they still can. The route slowly turns into hardened rock closer to Pantano. It offers a variety of grass and ground Pokemon for every trainer to catch.
|
robin posted in Live and Let Die (Robin) Nov 4, 2015 16:32:22 GMT -5
The small city of Pantano is a place in a desolate place. The earth around the city is barren with the white sands from the shore covering the ground. This does not deter the people who live within the city though. They are a harsh and tough people, filled with a wild and lively fighting spirit, making something exciting always happening.

Noe posted in Mostly Walking (Mod) Nov 9, 2015 10:36:14 GMT -5
If it weren't for the single black path painted on the ground, trainers would forever be lost on Route 8. Sand covers the entire route and the surrounding area even though it is far from the shore. A few small patches of grass and lone trees offer the idea that trainers are finally getting close to actual civilization again in the journey to Yumao town.

Yumao is a large town hanging off the edge of the steepest mountain in the Terram Mountain range. The buildings were carved into the side of the mountain and as technology advanced they began to rise, making a line of skyscrapers that are never seen on the skyline. Buildings are stacked ontop of each other with balconies as streets making this large town one of the must see places in Rakuen.

The forest that surrounds Dizhen is rumored to have grown out of a sirens corpse. The perfectly green setting is so alluring that many trainers go missing while walking down Route 10. While the trees may be beautiful to look at, strong and angry Pokemon dwell within the forest causing the city to constantly send out search parties for those missing trainers.

The city of Dizhen is the second largest city in Rakuen and the only one that is not anywhere remotely close to the shore. It is a thriving metropolis placed near the edge of the forest that was named after it. The city is absolutely full of life from the constantly moving people to the nature that encroaches on it.

The large Mountain range rises high into the sky, so high that while the rest of the island is a warm, tropical paradise the peaks of the mountains are frosted in snow and ice. While Route 11 does a nice job of providing a path through them, there are plenty of other uncharted paths that trainers often wander through to find Pokemon and train in hopes that the harsh conditions might toughen them up.

Along Route 11, the path widens into a small plateau with a few abandoned buildings. It looks as if it were once a small town that tried to settle within the mountains. Instead it became the location for an eerie gym and a determined contest leader.

Rukden is a town barely larger than Yayli that is placed behind the large and terrifying mountains on a tiny piece of shore far away from everyone else. The people who live there enjoy the life of fishing and the serenity of being left alone. The only traffic that comes through the town is an occasional trainer looking to challenge the gym, which isn't much.

Route 12 is a large stretch of land that runs between Yayli and Rukden. It runs along cliffs, the ocean, a few small fields where Pokemon might be hiding. It makes this route the most diverse for trainers trying to catch Pokemon making it quite popular among new and experienced trainers.

Route 5 is not really a route at all but rather a series of extremely small islands and shallow waters that allow trainers to walk across the ocean to Pacu Island. The shallow waters offer plenty of ocean Pokemon for a trainer to stumble across as they make their way to the remote island.

Branching off of Route 6, a trainer can enter the Pacu Woods. The woods were long ago considered a magical place where Pokemon seem to be the friendliest creatures in the world. Even with the rest of the Pokemon on the island becoming hostile the magic of the woods still remains, making it a sight to see.

Route six is a small path that runs through the tiny woods on Pacu Island. It offers plenty of shade and salty air for those traveling along it. The shade brings forth various types of grass and bug Pokemon who think that the low foot traffic and shade are a great place to call home.

Pacu Village is a small cluster of homes that sit on the edge of a white beach. The villagers thought that having a gym and a contest hall might attract other people to live there but most view it as far away from society and a hassle to get to.

The Rakuen Resort is a small island run by the Crystal Pokemon Lab. It is an island where Pokemon that are hard to find or different from others exist and flourish thanks to the Lab and its extensive research. Experienced trainers may buy ferry passes and visit the island in hopes to capture some truly rare Pokemon.

The training grounds is a simple open field where those who feel they are worthy of battling the Elite Four practice against those who also feel they are ready. It is a place to get in a few more battles, a few more pointers, and a few more tips before a trainer finally heads to the ever so famous Victory Road.

Victory Road is filled with plenty of Pokemon of a variety of sorts. Everything from flying to grass to a few water types and perhaps even rock Pokemon hide in the grass. It is the final place for a trainer to get some practice in. At the end of the route sits a lone Pokemon center and beyond that, the Elite Four within Destiny Keep.

Destiny Keep is the final destination for a Trainer's journey. Beyond the grand entrance is a large room, with four separate halls, two on each side. After a trainer enters each hall and is victorious in defeating the Elite Four, a single door opens up at the end of the room. There the Champion title awaits them.
