"I let that bug pokémon get away from me... I'm not letting that happen again!" Davey yelled, quickly grabbing his stuff, he began chasing after the skitty. Angel refused to follow at first but shortly after her trainer started running, she was behind him. Both were furious but for different reasons. Davey was upset to see yet another pokémon scatter off and Angel was upset because well... she didn't really want the skitty to join their team and that could obviously be seen by everyone except Davey. The igglybuff had been calling her names the entire time they're chasing after her. Davey ran and ran until finely, he caught up to her. Once he was close enough, he dived toward the pokémon, scooping her up with the pokeball and rolling down a hill. He made sure she was protected as they rolled. Once they were done, he let go off her. "I'm not letting you go. I want you on my team and I'm going to have you!" Snatching the pokeball, he threw it at her again.

Skitty | Female | Wonder Skin Everything was fine and well at first but then the trainer overstepped. The skitty was willing to overlook the first transgression as it merely deflected the ball back towards him but after he gave chase and tackled and tackled the pink pokemon, sending them both tumbling down the hill that crossed the line. It wriggled to escape and once the pokemon was free of the trainers grasp it glared at him. Once again he threw the pokeball, this time it managed to encapsulate the pokemon but the Skitty was strong, uninjured and certainly didn't want to go with the trainer now. The ball had hardly hit the ground before the Skitty burst out of it and dashed away towards a thicker part of the forest. In a matter of seconds the pokemon would be gone.

The ball finally capture the Skitty. He crossed his fingers as he watched it rock back and forth, determining if the skitty would remain inside the ball. He really wanted this skitty... he named this skitty. He had a glowing smile which soon faded when the skitty was released from the ball. He noticed how the Skitty glared at him before running off. He began chasing after it. "Wait! Please come back! I'm so very sorry!" He didn't know what he did wrong but it must've been enough to upset the little Skitty. He ran as fast as he could after the Skitty, losing her once he tripped over the branch of a tree and somehow ripping his pants and cutting his left leg. After falling, he sat up and leaned against a nearby tree. He began sobbing. "I can't find a sylveon... I can't catch a pokémon... I can't do anything!" He screamed. He was more upset than sad. Angel tried to comfort him.

Catching a pokemon wasn't easy, especially when you did so without battle. The trainers screaming echoed through the forest which fell silent in its wake. There seemed to be no more pokemon to be had. The first excursion of the novice trainer had been unsuccessful, hopefully he would learn patience and finesse from the experience or perhaps he could find someone to teach him to how to properly catch wild pokemon through battle. The world was full of pokemon, he'd surely get another chance to find his Sylveon eventually.
