NAME: MELIA FROST
Appearance: Melia was born with beautiful brown hair. As she grew up her hair slowly turned grey and then white. It was a horrible gene that resided in the family, causing most family members to have white hair before they turned twenty. Many of them dyed their hair to look younger but Melia was different. She embraced the white hair and let it thrive. She thought it added an air of intelligence and wisdom to her personality. She is often seen wearing the hair in various styles of braids and buns. When her hair isn't looped up in an extravagant get-up, it lays perfectly flat, stretching to the middle of her back. Melia herself is quite tall, another gene that is strong within her family. She is above the average height of most girls, standing at about 5'9". Those extra few inches make the slim woman look far skinnier than she actually is. After doing some research, one would know that Melia is quite a healthy girl for how skinny she is. Most of her weight is in slimmed down and stretched out muscles considering she has an intense daily routine of exercises that she and her Pokemon both go through. And the final thing that people need to know about the young Hall Leader is her fashion sense. She spends most of her time on the mountains, wandering through the snow and harsh winds in vibrant coats made from various furs and Pokemon throughout the region. Her clothes are of the utmost expensive taste. When she does wander down off of the mountains to some of the various cities for supplies or to expand her Pokemon team, her outfit consists of the most delicate of sundresses. Even if she is about to enter battle with some fluke teen that was bragging about beating her hall, she wears a dress so elegant it catches everyone's eyes. Personality: Melia has a bit of a strange personality when viewed by other people. To start you could mention her tiny little obsession with one thing called winning. The girl can not stand to lose anything whether it's a simple argument or a riveting contest. Her desire and drive to win often leads to a few poor decisions with her Pokemon and even herself yet she continues on anyway doing everything she possibly can to win. Most days everything is fine but the entire week building up to a contest the girl barely sets her head down for a moment nor will she ever let her Pokemon rest within the safety of their pokeballs. The only time they can get any rest is if she is frantically creating herself a new costume for the contest. With that small tid-bit of information, people might form crude and out right nasty opinions of the girl. Although these opinions are useless to Melia. She could not care less what society thinks of her so long she is fulfilling her own desires and wishes. She never lets people get her down but perhaps that is because she is never listening. The Hall Leader loves to be in the spotlight and can never get enough of people talking about her. She has a tendency to ignore anyone who is not immediately talking about her though. If a person dare to change the topic to what they had for lunch or about a new business opening up, you can count Melia as out of the picture as she eagerly looks for an excuse to leave. Finally there is Melia's moral compass. Besides her crazed winning phase she goes through occasionally, her compass couldn't be pointed more straight than ever. She refuses to tell a lie or keep secrets if it risks harming someone. She will always be a protector of anything that she sees as good, including Pokemon and on some rare instances, people. While she doesn't force her ideas and morals on other people, she sticks highly to them. Besides the few obvious issues that Mel has, she is overall a good and quiet young girl simply trying to earn her place in the world. History: In the spring, Melia was born to an older couple who lived in Rukden. By the time they had their first daughter, they felt too old to have another child, regardless of how much they desired many children. Instead, they placed their love for three children into one, spoiling Melia beyond all of her dreams. In the winter months they would give her swimming lessons, plush toys, new clothes and so much more. The summers were filled with a little less gifts but more adventures with the family. Her parents would take her on long hikes and camping trips into the mountain to visit the shrine as well as see plenty of wild Pokemon. She developed her love for Pokemon one summer when the Frost family was hiking on an uncharted foot path through the southern mountain. They stumbled across an injured swinub lost on a rocky path, ready to meet its end. Melia and her parents took the poor creature in, and then started the Pokemon hording. The family realized what fun Pokemon were to have around as well as how helpful they were. Various types and species of Pokemon made their way into the house as well as around it. They Pokemon were the other children that the Frost parents had always wanted but never could had. The love was divided but that did not bother Melia any. She was about fifteen when the Pokemon filled the house and she herself had become obsessed with the Swinub that they had first brought in. She took the poor creature and trained him up in the mountains to be stronger. It became her goal to find the family of the Pokemon and return him to where he belonged. The pair trekked through the mountains day and night through harsh weather until they finally found the family that had long ago left the Swinub to die. As Melia went to release the Swinub, a strange thing happened. The creature refused to leave her side. Even with his family standing before them, he wanted to stay with his new family, the Frost family. Melia began to understand the beauty and strength of a Pokemon as they journeyed back to her home. The Swinub protecting her all the way back by fending off wild Pokemon and leading the way down dangerous paths. Melia made it her goal to journey to the mountains each summer with her Swinub, searching for other injured Pokemon. Once she had what resembled a Pokemon team, a long lost friend of hers came down to visit the family house in Rukden. The old Ice Hall Leader who had known Melia all of her life from those journeys up to the shrine asked a favor of her. She had said she was getting too old for the mountains and that someone needed to guard the hall for her. While Melia did not know much about Coordination, she did know about the snow and the ice and the dangers of the mountains. She knew how to save Pokemon and people alike who got stuck or injured up there. The young woman agreed to take over the hall only if she could get a year in to train in coordination. During her year of training she challenged the other halls to make sure she was worthy to guard the Ice Hall. While she may have lost once or twice, she still managed to receive the ribbons, proving to herself as well as her mentor that she knew what the inner beauty of a Pokemon looked like. And while still new to the Coordination world, Melia Frost was handed the Ice Hall in order to help protect the mountain as well as reward ribbons to those who deserved it, all the while, learning from each Coordinator that walked into the doors.
