[attr="class","btext"]The Sewaddle was resting on Zuzu's shoulder, curled up into a little ball, snoring slightly. Zuzu had just gotten Leaf about two hours ago, and she already loved it to pieces because of how adorable it was. She could see it's body rise and fall with the beat of her footsteps. She was walking along route one, even though she knew most trainers went the opposite way to get to her. Well, not really her that is. To get to championship which often meant she was just another obstacle in their way after all the gym leaders have been defeated and in the past.
After a while she grew tired of all the walking. You would think she would be used to it by now because of her first journey, which consisted of quite a lot of walking until Straightwing evolved into a pokemon with wings and was more than happy to lift Zuzu into the clouds and to whichever destination she wanted to go. Zuzu had a complete understanding with the Flygon, but now she is faced with a new pokemon, which she only could understand bit's and pieces of its tired pokemon words. A few minutes later the Elite Four member was out of breath and sat down against a tree, breathing deeply to get as much air as she could into her.
Right before she was about to doze off with the Sewaddle on her shoulder, her head against the tree. The pokemon gave a huge yawn and woke up. She guessed it was because she was in the shade now, and the receptionist had said that the Sewaddle grew more active in the shade than the sun. Maybe because of how lazy it was. Just another feature she loved about Leaf. He mumbled something in his pokemon language, just his name. Zuzu understood enough that it was around the lines of "Where are we?" or "What's going on?" It was still a bit confusing.
She responded to the pokemon quietly, "I'm just taking a short break from walking, that's all." She sighed and let her head fall against the tree again, right before she heard some noise coming from nearby. "Did you hear that?" The Sewaddle, suddenly alert nodded and said it's name again. Zuzu often wondered why pokemon only said their names and parts of their names. How could something's vocal cords be shaped like that? And when it evolved, wouldn't it keep mostly the same vocal cords than changing from 'Trappinch' to 'Vibrava?'
It was all very confusing for Zuzu, but now she concentrated on the task at hand. "Who's there?" She said in the direction of the noise, towards a patch of grass that seemed very suspicious to her. Maybe it was a pokemon, or maybe a human. She had already resolved already, that when she met any humans she wouldn't divulge the secret of her being an elite four, and the Nickname she gave herself, "Zuzu" would hopefully be enough to conceal Zuzuki which most news teams broadcaster her by. She repeated herself again, more forcefully this time, "Who's there?" And then, she just waited.

Bounce. Bounce. Bounce. Bounce. The Spoink's eyes began to close as she slowly bounced forward through the grass. An apple sat between her ears where her pearl was supposed to be. Bounce. Bounce. Bounce... She let out a heavy breath before giving another bounce. She needed to find the beach in order to get a larger pearl. Sadly she had been wandering through tall grass for days without any luck. She had a very small pearl when she was younger before she found the averaged sized red one but still, she needed to largest pearl in order to evolve like her mother and brother and father and cousin and aunt and so on. Bounce. Bounce. Bounce. With her eyes closed, she continued to bounce forward, eventually finding herself wedged in a bush. She continued to bounce, rustling the leaves in her sleep. Finally, the sleeping Spoink freed herself from the branches and emerged before a trainer and her Pokemon. Of course, the Spoink did not realize this herself for she was asleep. Instead, her mouth barely opened, letting air get sucked in before she let out a loud snore, accidentally attacking the nearby trainer's Pokemon.
[attr="class","btext"]Zuzi stared at the bush, daring for it to move or rustle again. The Sewaddle was staring at it wonderingly, no longer tired. Just before Zuzi was about to say something again to Leaf before he jumped off her shoulder, using her head as a spring board. "Ow..." she muttered and lifted a finger to say something, but instead all that came out was a yawn. "Why, why, am I so sleepy all of a sudden... ?" She blinked, trying to not be as tired, her eyes started to close and she saw a Sewaddle standing by her angrily. Just as her eyes closed and as she was about to fall into a deep sleep she felt a huge hit on her head.
She jolted up, "OW!" Hopefully a bump wouldn't form. She glowered down at the Sewaddle who had headbutted her awake. "Fine, I'll stay awake." She said gloomily to Leaf. She yawned and sat back up, staring at the bush. What had just happened there? She had just fallen over asleep randomly but she had been wide awake a few moments ago. Zuzi crept towards the bush to see what was inside of it. Trying to get it to reveal it's secrets to her. What could have done that to her? As the bush's leaves tickled her she saw it was an adorable snoring Spoink. She would have said "Awwwwwwwwww." But it was asleep and she had no urge to awaken it.
Instead she looked at it for a few more moments and felt something weird about the spoink. She couldn't place it for a minute. Then a thought ran through her mind: Why is there an apple on it's head? Then she thought, it must have dropped it's pearl somewhere? Zuzi decided that when it woke up she would do all she could to help the little Spoink. So with that thought she sat on the ground and crossed her legs to wait, Leaf crawling up into her lap and curling up into a ball.

The Spoink continued her bouncing while she was alseep, If she had been awake she would have seen the trainer that was sitting before her. Or she would have seen the Pokemon that would have spooked her away. Perhaps she would have even seen the tree that she was bouncing straight towards. Instead, the Spoink saw nothing but a dream of lush and wonderful cotton candy plains with the largest pearls lining the skyline, all for the taking. She smiled at her dream, having the largest and most powerful pearl sitting atop her head.
Maybe if she hadn't been dreaming of her powerful pearl, the Spoink would not have been compelled to bounce forward with all of her sleeping might. And perhaps if that bounce had not happened, she would have slept on and never known the trainer that was nearby. Instead, she did bounce and the strong bounce pushed her head first into the trunk of the tree, smashing the apple atop her head. The impact as well as the smashed apple bits jerked the Spoink awake. She shook her whole body and slowly turned around to see the trainer. Her face flushed red in the process as she stared up at the large person, embarrassed that someone had witnessed that.
[attr="class","btext"]Zuzi waited and waited, trying to keep the Sewaddle from crawling all over the innocent Spoink. Leaf wanted to inspect it but Zuzuki wasn't so mean to the spoink to wake it up rudely. As she waited she looked around for the pearl, it was nowhere to be found in the surrounding area unfortunately though, and so she continued to sit, waiting for the Spoink to wake up. After a while of sitting she started to doze off again. That was when Leaf decided to try to inspect the Spoink again. "No, Leaf!" Zuzi hissed at the Sewaddle.
She reached down and as her hands grabbed the Sewaddle she saw the Spoink bounce and wizz right over her head. Startled she gave a small shriek and fell down, almost landing on top of the equally startled Sewaddle. Zuzi turned around just in time to see the Spoink hit a tree and wake up. Apearantly it hadn't been awake until then. The pig pokemon stared up at Zuzi as she walked over to it. She knelt down and said shyly to it, "Um, hi." Unsure of what to say next she said, "I noticed your pearl was gone. Do you want help?"

There were small chunks of apple sliding down the face of the Spoink as she continued to only stare up at the large human. Her bouncing was no more than an inch off the ground every second. It was barely even noticeable. The Pokemon's eyes began to water when the trainer mentioned that her pearl was gone. She had a perfectly good pearl the other day but had been tricked by the cruel mistress known as nature. Why did apples have to look so similar to pearls? The bouncing creature raised her hands to her ears where her pearl normally sat. It channeled all the energy around her, making her aware and awake and powerful.
Now though, she was a useless Pokemon that could barely even fight. The Spoink shifted her gaze to the ground. By this point in time her pearl was long gone, probably picked up by some other Spoink that was wandering around. It was kind of the trainer to ask, but it was a lost cause. The Pokemon shook her head slowly before turning away, she was too embarrassed to stick around any longer. The trainer probably thought she was a worthless Pokemon anyway. Truthfully, what was the point of a Spoink without a pearl?
[attr="class","btext"]The spoink stared at me as if it didn't understand what I was saying. For a second I contemplating again about how pokemon understand us and how we can only understand them after years of practice, and then still just barely. I looked at the spoink again and actually it was a rather comical scene. Chunks of apple slid down its bewildered face and I choked down the urge to burst into laughter. I then choked down sobs as the comical scene became sad and it bows its head in sadness. The apple slides off its face and I feel like crying. It eyes seem to be moist with tears.
The little spoink shook its head and started boubcing away slowly towards the trees. I felt awful. I can't let the little thing go away like that. "Please." I say quietly, walking to catch up with the little bouncer. "I just want to help."

The trainer spoke, telling the Spoink to wait. She turned around and stared at the human with large eyes, rubbing the apple residue away. Why would the trainer want to help? Weren't trainers often mean to Pokemon and attacking them for no reason? Well, there was a reason, more Pokemon meant more power. And more power meant you were better. That was why trainers were always searching for new Pokemon.. Just like Spoinks were always searching for new pearls to channel their power.
If the trainer wanted to help the little Pokemon, a thought arose in the Spoink's head. She looked towards the tamed Pokemon sitting in the lap of the trainer. "I want a battle to prove to your trainer that I am strong and a good Pokemon to have on the team, please. She is kind and wants to help me. Now when I am powerless, I need to feel powerful." The little piglet put on a mask of determination, hoping they would agree. Even if they didn't, she still wished to go with the kind stranger. No one else would accept her without a pearl and she was so far away from finding anything that would help increase her psychic powers... As she stood there, ready for the fight of all fights, she saw something red reflecting sunlight beneath a bush. With a gasp, the Spoink motioned for the trainer and Pokemon to wait. She quickly rushed out and dug a large, ripe apple out from underneath the bush and placed it between her ears.
After the apple was safely balanced on her head, the Pokemon returned before the trainer and the Sewaddle, a weary smile on her face. She was strong, she just had to prove it to everyone.
I saw the Spoink stop and turn around with eyes as huge as dinner plates, wiping the remaining apple away from it's eyes. It seemed to be thinking about something for a minute, and I was hoping that it would be saying that helping would be ok. Then the spoink started to talk rapidly in the spoink language, and Leaf seemed to understand. Maybe he would act as translator. Determination crossed over the Spoinks face as Leaf nodded an ok.
"Spoink wants to join us, but first he wants to fight us." I got the idea of what Leaf said and nodded to Leaf, wondering why the Spoink wanted fight when we should be looking for it's apple-I mean pearl. I said to the Spoink, "Ok, but afterwards I am going to help you find your pearl." I got ready with Leaf as the Spoink adjusted the apple on it's head. "Ok Leaf," I said to the detirmined Sewaddle, "Use string shot!"
The Sewaddle and the trainer both agreed to battle with her. The time to prove herself was now. She waited patiently as the little bug prepared itself. The trainer called out the first real attack of the battle. String shot. The wisps of white string clung themselves to the Spoink as she was hit by the speed reducing attack. She shook herself to try and remove the binding strings but it did not work. They were loose, letting her move, but they made the movements quite difficult. She had to think quickly before the trainer struck again. She would have such a disadvantage with the string all over her.
The wild Pokemon began to use her first move. She focused her energy, intending to channel it into her skin and reflect it onto the Sewaddle. All that happened though was rather uneventful. The apple on the Spoink's head began to shake as she placed the energy there, forgetting that it was not a pearl. Even without the pearl the attack still managed to come through. The Spoink's skin flashed for a moment and the string that covered the little Piglet appeared on the Sewaddle as well. The Pokemon herself could not contain her joy at the mild success of her first move. It encouraged her to try again with something a little more difficult. She began rubbing her hands together as she focused again. Slowly she drew them apart creating a weak little ball of energy. The apple shook as she focused harder, releasing the orb into a small beam aimed at the Sewaddle.
After the release the Spoink began to breathe heavily, her eyelids ready to close at any given moment. She shook her head, looking up with more determination. If she could do two of those moves then surely she could win this battle.
The little spoink was strong, being able to use it's psychic attacks without it's pearl is really a feat. I am actually really impressed with the little cute pig. After the mirror coat, Leaf struggled to get out of his own attack, but wherever he moved he would fall into more stickyness. It was sticky mayhem. "It's ok Leaf! Don't try to struggle, that will make it worse! Use razor leaf!" The sewaddle nodded and a horde of razor sharp leaves burst into existence into the air around him and soared at the spoink, and I though: Where do the leaves come from?
Then what I was hoping for happened, the leaves had cut Leaf's strings on himself and Leaf was free!
The trainer was quick to deflect his plan. She had the Sewaddle perform a razor leaf attack that was quick to slice through the strings that had appeared on the little bug's body. Perhaps they would do the same if they hit her as well? The Spoink braced herself for impact but sadly, the leaves hit her dead center of her stomach and created little mini explosions. The pain was unreal. The Spoink cried out in agony as she fell backwards. Man, getting hit with things really wasn't as easy as everyone made it out to be. She shook her head, trying to think clearly. The strings were still sticking to her and she didn't have any time to focus on getting another attack out there.
She had to think quickly. The Pokemon needed something to cover her while she freed herself from the strings and mustered all of her power. She was already so exhausted though.. The idea came from a large patch of dirt nearby the route. The Spoink was quick to jump into it where she began to splash around in the dirt, kicking up a large cloud of dust and earth. Finally, that useless maneuver had a purpose. With dirt flying every it began to cling to the extra sticky bits of the string shot, loosing it even more and making it easier to use. Next was to perform her attack. The piglet closed her eyes and focused as hard as she could. She wanted to create a ray and confuse the Sewaddle. After a few seconds while the dirt was beginning to settle, the apple started to lightly glow purple, just like her pearl used to do. Then suddenly, as it was overloaded with power, the apple exploded into a cloud of purple dust and some apple chunks. The Pokemon lowered her head, disheartened by the fact her 'pearl' had exploded.
After the attack of razor leaf, the spoink seemed weaker now, tired. This batrle was over as I didn't want to hurt the pokemon even more. I opened my mouth to speak but then the Spoink's face contorted in concentration, and the apple glowed purple for a few seconds, then exploded, apple chunks everywhere. I walked over to the spoink and knelt down, placing a pokeball in front of it. "I'm not going to fight you anymore." I say softly, "You can comr with me if you want though, and if your do I promise that I will find your a pearl." I smile a large smile as I wait for the small, pig pokemon's answer.
The trainer stopped the battle, leaning down in front of the Spoink and placing a Pokeball there, saying she did not want continue to hurt the Spoink and that if she wanted to join them she could. The little Piglet looked up at with her with wide eyes before bouncing off into the nearby bush. She found herself another apple before returning to the Pokeball and pressing the button, letting the flash of red light surround her.
YOU CAUGHT A FEMALE SPOINK Would you like to continue?
. Spoink || Female || Own Tempo
The small Spoink is a special Pokemon. She lost her pearl out in the wilderness and without it has been rendered mostly defenseless. She can still perform a wide variety of her attacks with some struggle due to her determination and sheer power. The most logical way of enhancing her power is to evolve her into something that does not need a pearl or find a Clamperl that is willing to give up its precious gem.
I smiled as I picked up the pokeball, and clasped it in one of my small hands. Leaf was doing a little victory dance which made me smile even more. I look down at the pokeball and make anpromise in my head to the spoink. I promise I will do whatever it takes to find your pearl. Or evolve the spoink into a grumpig, that would work since it had pearls built into it. I put the pokeball along my belt and I lower my hand to allow leaf to crawl up my arm and onto my shoulder.
I start walking again, waiting, and watching for whatever may befall me, maybe I can find the pearl sometime soon, or maybe... my train of thought lingered off as I thought about the Espurr that had appeared in my PC box out of nowhere. It seemed to like me and wanted to stay with me though... I'm just not sure what happened. PC glitch maybe?
There was something strange about that day. The small brown animal twitched his ears nervously. There was something. OH ARCEUS WHAT WAS THAT?! He ran and ducked for cover under a nearby bush as a Swellow flew overhead. The creature was probably looking to eat him or something. Oh arceus it was horrible being separated from his family. He had never been away from them this long. In fact, he had been walking along right behind them when he saw a pretty flower and wanted to give it to his mother so he wandered off for one moment. They were probably worried sick about their little baby. He really was their little baby. He had only hatched two weeks ago and was already out on his own. It was probably a new record for the Sentret species.
The little brown fuzz ball sat under his bush, sucking on the edge of his tail before he saw something brown in the field nearby. He had to cross a path first but what was so bad about that. He and his family crossed that path maybe four times a day whenever they needed water. He emerged from the bush, waddling on his two back paws so that he could still hold his tail while he walked. He started to cross the path when his ears began to twitch wildly, something was coming. The baby Sentret turned to face the creature in order to know what he was running from but it was too late. A human was standing in front of him. His eyes widen before he suddenly ducked himself into a small ball hoping that he would pass as a rock,
I look down at the pokeball in my hand, I still don't get it. How could the little Espurr have ended up in my pc? I still don't get it and it confuses me to no end. It shouldn't be possible to have a pokemon randomly appear in your pc. Especially right after you made the account! I had my town map in hand though, peering at it to see which way was the right way to go. I sigh, I should know this already, I mean. I am part of the elite four. I then jolt to a stop suddenly as a rock magically appears in my. I am about to just step around it, when I notice that the rock is fuzzy. I crouch dkwn and stare at the rock. What kind of a rock was fuzzy?
