e always did things without thinking. Everything was a go. It didn't matter what it was. From the clothes he wore, to the words that spewed from his thin lips before the thoughts crossed through his brain.
A large smile was spread across his pale lips as his blue eyes surveyed his surroundings. It was a new adventure. A new place. A new start. Something to not hold him back from his creative side. From all the potential that swelled up in his non-thinking mind.
The breeze that swept from the ocean felt good on his baggy kimono, peach of color. And his toes wiggled as the wind tickled them in the worn out sandles that cradled them. His hair flowed carelessly in the salty air, poking his eyes every now and again.
Nothing but the beautiful scenery was on his mind. His hands swayed to and fro by his side as he nearly skipped down the path.
In the distance, looming over the sea, he could see the silhouettes of Flying-type Pokemon, as they hovered before dipping below in to the refreshing coolness of the crashing waves.
"Oh, how it must be amazing to be able to fly where you want, when you want." His voice was oh-so feminine, with a soft, soothing tone that played home to a slight accent. The rays of the sun that flittered won, caused the blue waters to sparkle even more than normal, as if the sea itself was made of beautiful sapphires.
The boy exhaled in a relaxed demeanor as he stopped to take a big whiff of the salty sea air that continued to pour in from over it. "Now this is what life is about." He spoke again as he closed his eyes and stretched his arms out, allowing the breeze to swarm through his oversized sleeves and down his thin torso, leaving the area around him to be blocked out, even from all potential dangers.

The right path was quite silent that day, just the way the Rampardos liked it. He was getting ready for a party that was planning for that night with all of his friends. There was one particular Cranidos that he was aiming to impress. She called herself Cranny and had the cutest little tail. Rampardos knew he really did not have a chance with something that small and adorable but he just had to try anyway. After all, love found itself in the strangest of places.
The Pokemon was in the stage of arranging rocks. He would pick one up and move it, debate about whether it should be there, push it to the left slightly, debate, right slightly, debate. Eventually he would move the rock to a completely different spot and be satisfied. Everything had to be in the perfect place for Cranny and his other guests. That was when he heard the trainer. The Rampardos looked around for the source of the voice, but it was too late. The trainer, was that.. a girl? or a boy?? Oh it didn't matter. The trainer gently kicked one of the rocks forward, causing it to bounce along and fall off the cliff. That was the last straw, the Rampardos needed that rock to impress Cranny. He shouted out, "Hey you owe me a rock kiddo! I cannot believe you are so rude to come into my house and knock my rock off of the cliff." Of course, the shouting sounded more like a lot of angry roaring than actual words and by house, he meant a small stretch of land on the path that he had claimed as his own. Regardless, he was pretty worked up over the incident.
he wind picked up again slightly, ruffling the small patch of hair on his head, as well as kicking up a bit of loose dust. It stung his eyes ever so slightly before he had a chance to shield them. The day was so beautiful. He couldn't imagine a better day to start off his journey.
He thought things couldn't spiral downwards. Boy, was he wrong. The rock that shuffled off the cliff as he moved his feet angered a Pokemon. At first, the low grumbles didn't bother him. It was soon, the angry roaring that boomed behind his thin figure that caused him to jump and shriek like a frilly little girl.
His hands went flailing in the air as his vision settled upon a rather large Rampardos. The massive, blue dinosaur looked like a skyscraper compared to the twig of a trainer. He could swear the Pokemon was cursing him out in the Pokelanguage, though he couldn't make it out. He had caught the gist of it - yelling at the girly-boy about knocking rocks over the cliff.
Yumiko looked down at his feet. He then realized he was standing in a small circle of rocks. I swear this wasn't here before... He thought to himself. But it didn't matter. This angry blue, hulking Pokemon was angered. And there wasn't a damn thing Yumiko could do.
The roaring continued for a bit before Yumiko let out another shriek, taking one too big of step backwards before he went tumbling off the cliff. "I'm such an idiotttt!!!" His voiced echoed off the cliff walls as he spiraled downwards, as well as startling the bird Pokemon that were nestled off rocks, jutting out the side.
Two things were on the mind of the Tirtouga that evening. First was the journey from the coral reef where he had a dinner of Magikarp and seaweed with his in-laws to the small cliff cave just outside of Crystal Bay where he and his lovely wife lived. His wife was ahead of him quite a bit, eager to get home and fall asleep. The sea-turtle was swimming a bit slow because of the second thing that was on his mind. His in-laws asked what he was doing with his life. Their son had just been declared the coral reed Pokemon Champion by fending off a horde of Tentacruel from taking the reef. And what had he been doing? Swimming through the bay to trick people into thinking the water was more shallow than what it actually was. He had to start doing something with his life, the question just was, what. He wanted to be known for something. At the bay he was just a simple prankster with his buddies but down in the reef he was a nobody. He was not even a father yet.
That was when the Tirtouga saw it. A boy was falling from the sky straight towards the water. Man he must have been an idiot to think that jumping that far was a good idea. He splashed right through the surface of the water, falling down, further and further into the Pokemon's domain. The turtle saw his chance, he would save the life of a trainer and finally be something in his in-laws' eyes. The Pokemon swam to the boy, nudging his way under the arm of the human and lifting him to the surface. Once in the fresh air, the Tirtouga spoke, "Where are you headed boy? I'm going to Crystal Bay but will happily take you anywhere!" The sound that came out though was simply a strange string of Tirts, ougas, and Tirtougas.
his was it. He was going to die. The thoughts in his mind told him he was going to die. The fall from the cliffside in to the water below. There's no telling what would happen. He could be eaten by a Sharpedo for all he knew!
But he was wrong. Just as he plunged in to the coolness of the ocean, he was caught on the back of a .... Tirtouga? Several moments later, the sea turtle lifted him out of the water and in to the air above, allowing him to gasp wildly for air. Man. What is up with this today? First he's nearly bombarded by a raging Rampardos, then he's caught by a friendly Tortuga who was helping him to stay alive! He should have chosen the other route, perhaps then he wouldn't have had an near-death experience.
He exhaled slowly, just as the Tirtouga started spewing a torrent of Tirts and the like. Almost as if he was talking, just as he swore the Rampardos was doing, only this one seemed to be a bit more friendly in a way. As far as he guessed, anyways.
"Uhm. Thank you, Mr. Tirtouga." His voice sounded even more girly than before. "Uhm. You can just take me over to the land, if you want. I'm giving control to you." He added in, gently patting the Tirtouga on its shell. Yumiko glanced up at the cliff he had fallen from, just as the silhouette of the Rampardos disappeared back over the edge. Yumiko rubbed his head slightly, before glancing about the endless ocean on the other side of him.
The boy that the Tirtouga was saving said that he would like to go back to shore and that the Pokemon was in charge. Well that was easy, the shore was only a few minutes away for the turtle. He had planned to return him to the shore by the port town of Yayli on its little sand peninsula. That was when he noticed his wife, meters and meters away, heading home without even a second glance to make sure her husband was following. "Hold on to your hat boy, we are heading to Crystal Bay! I live by there and clearly my wife is not waiting for me to drop you off!" This again just came out in a series of sounds that resembled the turtles name. Regardless, he thought he was making perfect sense and after all, the human had told him that he was in charge.
The Tirtouga then tried to form a plan. He first needed to catch his wife and swimming along the surface would not allow him to go fast enough to do so. He would have to go underwater, but humans had the small issue of not being able to breath underwater. The plan formed then. The eyes of the Pokemon began to glow a light blue as a force-field appeared around the human. It would only last a couple of minutes but it would still be enough. The turtle dove underwater and pushed his fins as hard as they would go. He caught up to his wife in a matter of seconds. This was going to be an easy journey to the Bay.
