| Jodie's Updated Opinions on Everything (Now with picture)
Relations:
Melia: The two new neighbours set up a meeting at a restaurant and had a chat. Jodie’s initial impression wasn’t a particularly good one, but by the end of their conversation her opinion had changed to be more favorable. For neighbor the new Ice Hall Leader doesn’t seem so bad. Interests: Those candies. What even was up with those?
Plans:
Ryusuke: Ryusuke’s and Jodie’s mothers knew each other from Hoenn. Now they just have to meet each other. Nyx: There’s a crime to be stopped! |

Jodie's Pokemon (Details will be added as I come up with them)
| Dusknoir, kindly called "Skully" (Because Jodie was a very creative 8-year-old) Ability: Pressure Gender: Male Personality: Dusknoir is protective, intuitive, and surprisingly intelligent. He's the type to put himself at risk for another, even someone he doesn't know. History: Dusknoir was Jodie's first pokemon. They've been traveling together for 12 years through thick and thin. The two of them have developed a strong synergy. |
Sableye, kindly called "Murk" Ability: Keen Eye Gender: Male Personality: Murk has a love for shiny things. He's proud and a hard worker, and not afraid of anything by fairy types. History: Sableye was Jodie's second pokemon, whom she caught in a cave she totally didn't get lost in. She wanted to name him "Darkness" but had met a sableye named that not too long ago and didn't want to seem like a copycat. So she looked up synonyms on her pokedex. She's used Murk in more battles than any other pokemon, and she continues to use his almost flawless typing to her advantage. The first day they came across a fairy type was not a good one.
| Froslass, kindly called "Oko" Ability: Snow Cloak Gender: Female Personality: Oko could be considered the calm and gracefull member of the group. She's somewhat distant, edging on aloof, and a bit of a show-off (she really may have been better off with a coordinator), but she's concise. History: Oko was Jodie's third pokemon. Jodie had run off into the mountains to start training by herself when a snowstorm hit. The then snorunt attempted to help her and her pokemon, but was nearly blown off a cliff. Jodie and co. managed to save her. After resolving what was honestly a ridiculous situation in which everyone was being extremely reckless, they decided to travel together. |
Shedinja, kindly called "Legacy" Ability: Wonder Guard Gender: Genderless Personality: Legacy lacks confidence in herself and can be rather shy, but is kind and quick to help. History: While ninjask is a popular pokemon, few trainers know how to train or even bother with the shedinjas made from nincada's evolution. Legacy is not originally Jodie's pokemon, nor was "Legacy" her original nickname. Her previous trainer used the then called "Leftovers" in a couple of battles and was utterly crushed in each, to which the trainer did not kindly react. Jodie, seeing the injustice, somewhat forcefully made the trainer trade the shedinja for a zigzagoon she'd caught the moment before. She's since worked on building the confidence of the pokemon back up, and has changed her nickname to "Legacy" using the power of synonyms once again.
| Aegislash, kindly called "The Grim Reaper" Ability: Stance Change Gender: Female Personality: Grim could be described at a trickster. She loves stealing stuff, breaking stuff etc. While she mostly listens to Jodie now she's rather unpredictable. History: Grim is named as such for the reason that when they first met, the honedge tried to kill Jodie. That of course meant Jodie had to catch the pokemon. The fifth edition to her team continued to make trouble, she now mostly only makes trouble for the challengers of the gym. Because of her, if something goes missing Jodie's automatic response is "oh the Grim Reaper probably took it". |
Golurk, kindly called "Helios" Ability: Iron Fist Gender: Male Personality: Helios is the cheerful, empty-headed type, and he isn't afraid of anything. Like Dusknoir he's very protective. Helios will fight his hardest even if he knows he will loose. History: Jodie and co. found Helios in some underground ruins. The golett was awoke when Jodie was messing around and ancient building. The golett had been tasked with keeping out intruders, as Jodie later read in some old glyphs, but a tremor hit the underground ruins. If not for the pokemon coming to her aid, Jodie would have been hit by a falling bolder. She and her team helped clear passages that had been clogged by fallen rocks and the golett decided to tag along. Jodie was ecstatic the day she found out Helios could fly.

| Gengar, kindly called "Eddy" Ability: Levitate Gender: Male Personality: Eddy is a laid-back pokemon with a bit of a lazy streak. He uses his ghost-typing as a shortcut for whatever he can. He rarely battles to his fullest, though he does listen to Jodie because of her experience. The gengar has about a year and a half of experience under him, but he's lazy enough that he hasn't grown very quickly. Since meeting Jodie, he's been the main force between her and the dead, and he's become quite protective of her. History: Jodie needed a new team of pokemon after her main team was league-locked. Up to this point in his life, the ghastly had done all the scaring. Indeed that was what he was doing to a young trainer out in the forest. So when a human dropped out of the tree behind him and threw a pokeball, you can imagine his surprise. (The kid Jodie helped demanded that if he couldn't catch the ghastly he should at least get to name it, and the name's just kinda stuck.) The haunter has taken to his life of wandering quite well since then. HM/TM: Will-o-Wisp |
Metang, kindly called "" Ability: Clear Body Gender: Genderless Personality: This pokemon is young, innocent, and has yet to have much in the way of character development. History: Metang was given to Jodie as a newly hatched beldum as inheritance from a great aunt.
| |
Meowstic, kindly called "Elan" Ability: Infiltrator Gender: Female Personality: Elan is a cool-headed and serious pokemon who doesn't find much funny (she's very fun to tease). She listens to Jodie only because she's a gym leader, as Elan finds the trainer completely senseless. Though the meowstic has a strong survival sense and doesn't mind getting dirty, she enjoys being proper and pampered. History: It was a team effort, burning down the house where this pokemon and her partner resided. The Poison Gym Leader Nattousai and Jodie decided they'd better help out the two pokemon who called that mansion home, so Jodie captured Elan.
| Feebas, kindly called "Prince Gifford A. Quentin" Ability: Swift Swim Gender: Male Personality: The prince is a formal fellow who is also starting to get on in years. He's got a bit of an attitude to him, despite the fact that he's really not all that powerful. He's the sort to just give up and flop over after one attack hits. History: All that work, running around the region, looking for golden candies, just for an old fish. It's confusion abound for this pair. HM/TM: Surf |
Shuppet, kindly called "Courante". This pokemon is Shiny. Ability: Insomnia Gender: Female Personality: Loyal to a fault, this pokemon has only the good interests of others in mind and a heart of gold. She's heroic and brave on top of it. Strange for a ghost pokemon, Courante is a role modal of a good pokemon. History: Joey caught Courante during that time there were all those odd barrels scattered throughout the region.

A few sets of clothes Backpack food for travel Sleeping bag Spare pair of shoes A couple tennis balls A good quality camera A notebook (and a spare) Several pens A recording device
Growlithe, also called "Bach" Ability: Flash Fire Gender: Male Personality: This happy-go-lucky pokemon has a strong childish side to him. He loves to play (fetch especially), and if he gets ahold of something, prepare to chase him to get it back. He's always keen on battle, though he lacks skill or power. He's the sort to get so wrapped up in the fun of it that he won't be paying attention to anything but the battle. Loosing doesn't bother this pokemon. In fact, just heal him up and he'll be ready to give it another go. Bach is a faithful companion, loyal to a fault. He also automatically loves everyone. Especially if they've got food or call him cute. History: Cas received Bach through a work program. The goal was to keep all field journalists safer, so everyone got registered as a trainer and received a pokemon. Bach was a newly hatched growlithe, donated by the police force to the program. Since their meeting, Cas and Bach have become inseparable.
Trapinch, also called "Loptr" Ability: Arena Trap Gender: Male Personality: While usually laid back, Loptr has a bit of a trickster streak to him. This especially shines if someone beats him in battle - the pokemon will make it up in the best way he knows how. This usually means pitfall traps. In battle, Loptr needs to know his trainer is competent if he's going to listen. Even then, if he starts loosing, he's got a tendency to go into a bit of a rage and do whatever he wants. Both being childish, Loptr and Bach sometimes feed off each other and get into trouble. History: Those who said field work was dangerous were correct - one day, while hiking through a the desert for a story on the old ruins there, this trapinch appeared and refused to let Cas leave. After the pokemon knocked out Bach, Cas threw a pokeball... and managed to catch the trapinch. Loptr's quite happy to finally be going on a journey.
Noibat, also called "Deveraux" Ability: Infiltrator Gender: Male Personality: Deveraux's name sounds like it should belong to some suave hero with a mustache and rapier. The Noibat does not live up to this namesake. The little pokemon is timid, and slow to warm up to others. Even though he's likely to bail from a fight he doesn't think he can win, and his confidence is low to say the least, there's an unusual intelligence in him for a pokemon his age. History: Cas received Deveraux from the newspaper branch he transferred to. He was a welcome gift, in that they found him in the rafters and weren't sure what to do with him. The employees couldn’t get the timid pokemon to leave, and ultimately had no choice but to catch him. The guy who managed it just so happened to be in charge of getting Cas a welcoming gift, and had completely forgotten. So ,he gave the pokemon what he thought was a cool name and saved himself an impromptu trip to the store. Needless to say, Cas was more than happy to receive the dragon-type. They haven’t known each other for long, and Deveraux is still warming up to the trainer.
