The small waves of the bay lapped against the shore. The sound and smells of the ocean were nearby, riding on the wind towards the large city that loomed in the distance. The slim frame of a woman stood ankle deep in the crystal clear water. Her eyes were watching the city as if she were waiting for something. Not far away sat her bag and a Blitzle that was happily snoozing in the sand.
Roman had left... Well been kicked out of her old life only a few days ago yet it felt like an eternity. She already met her future best friend that she would form a wonderful friend circle through, stretched out her first Pokemon, Toaster, and made it to the major city. She applied for a breeding license on her second day in Rakuen and was awaiting a response from the city before she got started on her new life. While she was waiting, the idea of spending some time on the beach getting to know Mini sounded like a splendid way to wait. Sadly, once they arrived and the female had been released from her Pokeball all she wanted to do was eat a few treats and go back to sleep. Perhaps there really wasn't anything to the creature's personality other than she was lazy.
The breeder stared at her Blitzle for a moment before looking back at the city. It was quite the sight to see from a distance. The city wrapped around most of the bay with a good portion of it hiding under the massive cliff. There were three separate little towers that acted as elevators to get to the nearby routes. It was her goal to see the city from far away and below as well as high above. The view coming into the bay from route one was even more impressive at night when everything was lit and the lights reflected across the clear waters. Roman was simply just settling for the evening view.
She turned and looked over the water, deciding that if she was still in the city during the next day she would surely buy herself a bathing suit and enjoy the tropical water. In that moment though, the woman simply returned to her things in the sand. She sat, tucking her knees under her chin and watching the ships out in the deeper water of the bay. In her mind she had been hoping for a more eventful couple of days but the actual events that happened were quite peaceful. She would not have changed it in the slightest. Well, perhaps the long waiting period that she was stuck in to get approved for a plot of land. Everything else had been nearly perfect. Well, she had also been hoping to see and catch more Pokemon than what she had. Most of the Pokemon she saw were from a distance and she had only seen tame ones up close. The thought of actually encountering a Pokemon enthralled her. She had heard of trainers running into the constantly and battling them as well as interacting with them.. The young woman had just been unlucky enough to not encounter a single thing that far into her journey. Perhaps that would change for the better soon...
ooc// blehck. I just want Roman to have all the Pokemans. #nomuse q
A short distance away from the girl and her sleeping Blitzle a local merchant was packing up for the day. He sold fries, sandwiches and other such snacks to hungry beachgoers but as the sun began to set his business dwindled and eventually stopped. No one showed interest in his cart this late except for a single errant Wingull in search of a quick meal. It landed on the cart's umbrella, hopping down to peck at whatever food the cart owner turned his back on. It was a clever and determined thing, every time the man shooed it away it would just come back from another angle as soon as he was distracted. Out of frustration he threw a bun at the tenacious bird pokemon, a projectile which the Wingull easily dodged. The bun landed a bit in front of the girl and her pokemon, atop the wet sand between them and the water. The feathered fiend let out a triumphant cry as it pounced atop the bun and started pecking at it wildly, not even bothering to cast a glance at the other two. As a general rule trainers and their ilk didn't bother the Wingull and he clearly wasn't afraid of them. Right now all the pokemon needed in this world was the bun and now that he had it the Wingull was content.
All of the Pokemons! Let the Random Number Generating begin.
It was during her sitting that something strange happened. Out of nowhere a bun flopped itself into the sand right in front of Roman. Her Blitzle, Mini, lifted a lazy eyelid to inspect the event but decided it was not worth her time. She closed her eyes and shifted her head so that she was not facing the bun any longer. The breeder herself leaned forward, wondering where the bun had come from and why it had come to her. Her eyes scanned the bay eventually locating a food vendor not far away. Was he the one that had-
Her thoughts were suddenly interrupted as a Wingull came inches from her face. His wings fluttering as he landed on the bun, greedily eating it up. The sound of wings and the familiar noise of a Pokemon eating something caused Mini to perk up. Her head looked around, locating the wild Pokemon and his source of food. She had not been hungry moments ago but since there was food before her being offered, she suddenly found her stomach grumbling. The breeder sat back as she watched her Blitzle inch herself from the ground before nuzzling her way into the personal space of the Wingull, hoping to get a few good bites of the bun in before something happened.
Roman let out a sigh as she grabbed the head of her Pokemon, gently pulling the creature back. She kept her hand on the muzzle of the Blitzle that pushed against her, still wanting a bite of that bun. The woman reached for her bag and dug around for a moment. Eventually she pulled out a small bag of honey brown pellets. She held a handful beneath her own Pokemon's mouth until Mini began eating them, enticed by the delicious smell of the Pokemon food. She grinned as the creature became distracted, giving her time to deal with the Wingull.
The breeder leaned forward again, her hands filled with the pellets. She slid them across the sand and closer to the Wingull. "Hey guy," she said gently, trying to grab his attention without spooking him. "I think this will make a better meal for you." Carefully, Roman tossed a few of the pellets beside the bun, guessing that the wild creature wouldn't be so willing to eat from her hands like her Blitzle pairing did.
The Wingull swiveled its head and narrowed its beady eyes as the much larger pokemon approached. It stood atop the bun like a king on his throne, not budging an inch. In fact it almost looked as though he was ready to take on the entire world just to defend his soggy sand covered bun. In his mind the Wingull had a grand image of himself, standing defiantly against insurmountable odds in defense of what was rightfully his but in reality he just looked sort of goofy. As the trainer brought her pokemon under control the Wingull turned it's back on them and returned to pecking at it's prized meal. It seemed as though nothing could come between this pokemon and the bun, even the food tossed to it landing on the sand next to it elicited no response from the Wingull at first. Annoying children often threw rocks at him, so he was used to things landing nearby and payed it no mind.
A few moments later however, the scent of the specially blended treat caught its nose so to speak. The bird pokemon's head swiveled almost a hundred and eighty degrees as it turned to look at the nuggets of heavenly deliciousness. The Wingull had tasted these before, they were often jealously guarded by trainers and their pokemon but on a rare occasion they were left in bags or atop towels for him to snatch up. The Wingull pounced on the food and closed his beak around it, tilting his head back and swallowing it whole. Repeating the process until he had picked the area around him clean of the tossed food. Nothing spoke to this pokemon quite like food, and this was his favorite. He hopped towards the trainer a few times, looking at her hands and tilting his head sideways. The Pokemon ruffled his blue and white feathers a bit, letting out a series of high pitched chirping cries. Perhaps he was asking for more, perhaps he was evaluating the best angle of attack in which to steal another nugget. The only thing that was for certain was that the Wingull would not leave before getting more of the good stuff.
The Wingull barely noticed the food being tossed at it at first. Things changed when the smell reached its nose though. Roman watched as the bird greedily snatched up all of the food that he could. When he was finished he chirped wildly and ruffled his feathers. Clearly he wanted more though there was a certain look in his eyes that said he was willing to go to extreme measures for it. The woman tossed five pellets high into the air, wondering if the Pokemon would fly up to catch them. She would not wait though to see though, setting the rest of the food she had in her hands on the sand between the Pokemon and herself.
The breeder sat back on her heels, eager to befriend the wild Pokemon. Of course she had always been warned that the wild birds were vicious and greedy creatures and to offer them food was practically a death sentence. They would follow and bother you until you had nothing left and even then they would still flock around you, pester you, practically overwhelm you. That did not matter though, the joy of feeding the poor and starving creature was enough. She would feed him until he was the fattest Wingull on the beach. She would feed him until he was so fat that he could not even fly anymore. Perhaps that would cause him to evolve into a Pelipper. She giggled at the thought. That was of course not how Pokemon evolved but it was a nice thought that if you just fattened something up enough it would grow into it's next evolution to compensate for size.
It was time though, Roman reached into her bag knowing full well the Wingull would eat through the food she had laid out in a matter of moments. She fished around again, finding more of the delicious food as well as a brownie she had been saving for herself. She pulled them out as well as a single empty Pokeball. She was nowhere close to capturing the creature but she decided it would be best to have it ready and waiting for when she felt the Pokemon was comfortable enough to be caught. Talking to it had elicited no reaction meaning she simply needed to show it kindness in order to befriend it. Or... she could attack it while it was distracted in hopes of getting a head start on the battle. Roman looked at Mini for a moment who had gone back to sleeping after finishing her food. She glanced at the bird and shook her head. No, she could not hurt the poor innocent creature nor was she willing to battle with her lazy Blitzle. She would just be required to trick the creature into joining her team.
ooc// I fed a flock of seagulls at the beach once. Never again. This will be fun ^^
The Wingull flapped its wings and leapt into the air but missed catching the pellet by a mile. The Pokemon fell on its back and flailed about for a moment, it's wings slapping against the wet sand as it struggled for a moment to regain its footing. Racing against the incoming tide the Wingull dashed from pellet to pellet, devouring them whole before the wave could roll up the beach and sweep it's meal away. Only once the last of the snacks were secure in its gullet did it turn its attention to the next pile of food. With a series of fluttering hops it made its way from the ocean's edge to the drier sand where the trainer sat with her Pokemon. It passed right over the now soggy bun on its way, so easily forgetting its earlier triumph now that such a bounty was being offered to it. The Wingull was greedy, that was apparent but it was not entirely without qualms. It spent all day stealing food from people, but now it seemed as though the food was simply being offered to it. It expected no trap, but it did expect that any second now someone would come along and try to snatch it's meal away from it.
The small pile of pellets in front of the trainer did little to appease its insatiable appetite. Only a few pellets remained by the time the Trainer had finished digging through her bag. The Wingull tilted its head back, devouring each portion of the food in a single gulp, all the while keeping its eye on the trainer. Though it was looking for more food. Throughout its life on this beach it had come to associate bags with food, people were always pulling things out of them and those things were usually edible. The Wingull watched the bag carefully, hopping to and fro as it tried to judge whether or not there would be more food. The last few bits of pokemon food in front of it were covered with sand as it shuffled about trying to get a better look was it hopped about. The Wingull let out an impatient squawk as its hops took it gradually closer to the bag and the trainer it belonged to.
I see people doing that where I work, the squirrels are way worse though
Roman turned to see the Wingull ever so close to her. Her eyes widened in shock. She had not expected the creature to come that close to her. He only wanted food, sure, but still, wild things tended to have a small set of boundaries to them. "Woah now guy, I have your goods right here," She said, revealing the new bag of pellets that she had, hiding the partial brownie and Pokeball behind her back. She was about to offer a proposition to the Pokemon in hopes that he understood what she was saying. He early had completely ignored her words but that did not mean he had not heard them. Sometimes she ignored people trying to talk to her for the simple fact she did not want to really socialize or bother dealing with the questions they had. She knew the feeling.
The breeder held her hand outwards, the bag spilling open. It caused a few of the pellets to fall to the sand, but most of them remained in her hand. "Do you want to have an unlimited supply of food always offered to you? You won't have to fight or scavenge for food ever again and the food will always be delicious, not a soggy bun covered in sand someone threw to get you to go away." She lowered her hand of food, purposely spilling more into a small pile on the sand. "How do you feel about joining my cause to feed you with wonderful goodies." She dropped the rest of the Pokemon food into the pile, throwing the bag behind her. With both hands behind her she separated the brownie bit and Pokeball. Slowly, she moved the delicious treat before her, watching the Wingull carefully to make sure that he was not about to become spooked.
"If you don't have any issue," Roman tossed the brownie onto the pile, hoping it would offer enough of a distraction to keep the bird occupied, "with-me-catching-you-sqwuak-now." The last half of that sentence was said without a breath in between. She waited less than a second before she pulled the empty Pokeball from behind her back. In one swift motion she pressed the button and aimed the orb towards the greedy Wingull. A second starving Pokemon was not her ideal catch but the diversity of a water and flying type added to her collection quite nicely. He would act as a nice pairing for customers due to his multiple egg groups. Now if only she could fatten him up enough so that he would not eat all of the food that she bought. Well, that was if she caught the creature. The woman watched eagerly as the red light covered the bird. Now all the ball needed to do was close and click and she would have caught her first Pokemon. First of many.
The Wingull had been right. There was more food in the bag, but for once he didn't need to stick his face in it and then make a mad dash towards the horizon before the bag's owner could throw a shoe at him. Truth be told he was some what confused by the actions of this particular person. Being a wild Wingull it never really had anyone talk to it, just yell at it. This particular tone of voice was perplexing, even more so was the endless supply of food which this woman seemed to be producing for him. The Wingull wasn't dumb but he was short sighted. Living day to day would do that to a pokemon so his focus was entirely on the food and not on her words. Truth be told the only thing he seemed to respond to was the word food itself.
It stood comfortably atop the pile of food, continuing to eat but at a somewhat slower pace as the stomach began to fill up. Being full in of itself was a strange sensation for the intrepid bird, if allowed it would surely eat itself sick. Today was indeed a day of firsts for it, and for the first time since it was a young curious fledgeling that it listened to a human, the first time it was full, the first time is was comfortable within close proximity to anyone. The bird pokemon stopped eating and stared at the woman as she spoke. Tilting its head sideways as if it was trying to both understand and comprehend what she spoke of. The concept of unlimited food was strange to him, both in word form and in practice. He jumped off the pile backwards as the brownie landed on it, hesitating for a few tense moments before hopping back forward and taking it in his beak. The next thing that caught his attention was a flurry of almost unintelligible words and the pokeball encapsulating him. With the brownie still in his mouth the Wingull cast a look of surprise as the red light surrounded him. The brownie dropped from his beak and he let out one last surprised squawk before the pokeball snapped shut, landing atop the brownie. It jostled a bit, dithering between locked and unlocked as if it was making up its mind but in the end it locked shut with a satisfying clicking noise. The very favorite noise of many a trainer and breeder.
This had been a day of firsts for the Wingull, and a day of lasts. All that food had made it the best day of the Pokemon's life but now he would be starting a new one. Best of luck to whomever sought to tame such a glutinous bird, for it would not be mercyfull on their food budget...
It's true. One bit me while i was trying to chase it away from our chips
The sound of the Pokeball clicking shut was beautiful. Roman practically squealed in delight as she had caught her first Pokemon. Of course, he was a hungry little bastard that would eat her out of all of her money, but still. He was a Pokemon, and she had caught him fair and square. There was nothing better than catching a Pokemon. It created the most amazing feeling. An added bonus was that she was adding diversity to her plot! Or at least, she would, when she got approved for the plot.
She picked up the ball from the sand, shaking it to remove any excess sand before placing it on her belt loop with her two other Pokeballs. Her tiny collection was growing. She could not help but smile wider. This truly was the start of her journey. She was on her way to becoming a successful Pokemon breeder as well her own person with her own life and her own house. These were the baby steps but soon she would be taking the world in strides with the largest smile on her face. She never would have guessed how happy Pokemon made her, how useful they were to the spirit.
Roman decided that in her victory, she would wade into the water a little just to enjoy the cool waves of the ocean. The first steps were freezing, causing her to gasp in shock before she continued on. Once she was standing with the water lapping at her knees she stopped. Her eyes closed as she spread her arms in triumph, letting the ocean breeze wash over her. It smelled so beautiful. She never wanted to leave Rakuen, or the bay as a matter of fact. She would just set up her plot right there on the shore and live there forever, enjoying the sounds of the nearby ocean and the crystal blue water. The breeder giggled at the thought. At least she would have an endless supply of Wingulls to catch and breed for her liking. It would also be easy to sell Pokemon with how many people were there in the mornings and noontime looking for Pokemon or just enjoying the sand. If only she hadn't already applied for a plot. The government probably would not have approved her idea anyway only prolonging the waiting.
A large wave pulled Roman out of her thoughts as it splashed her entire torso, knocking free her Pokeballs and soaking her clothes. She scowled for a second before scurrying to retrieve the lost balls. She no longer enjoyed the bay that much. She should have expected such a tide though, it was just her luck. Another wave crashed her last Pokeball under the water, pulling it deeper into the bay. The woman scowled more as she dove into the water after it. Her clothes were already soaked, why not ruin them further just to get her lost Pokemon. Her hand wrapped around the ball as her head surfaced in the water. Somehow she had managed to leave the portion of the bay where she could stand on the sand but instead was floating in the water by herself, quite a ways away from her things.
The beach may empty out as the sun goes down but the bay itself only gets more crowded in the twilight hours as pokemon flock to its relatively safe waters. Naturally this means that some of the more dangerous pokemon follow them into the shallower waters as well. The sight of a person amongst the waves however was an uncommon sight. Various water pokemon watched from a distance as she fumbled about for her pokeball. By the time she resurfaced she was in the midst of more than she knew. A whole world right beneath the surface just watching her. Above the waves however everything was calm, waves lapped against the beach behind her and a few boats drifted across the waves in the distance. It was relatively peaceful for a moment, until a wayward Qwilfish launched itself out of the water and over her head. It splashed down behind Roman and slapped the water with its tail. It was a rather territorial thing, and for good reason. In the scarlet orange light of the setting sun it seemed normal at first, but it's discoloration became clear after a moment.
This pokemon had spent its entire life as a target, outcast from its school. Just it verse the entire world and under the waves that was a very big, very dangerous world. The strange pokemon narrowed its eyes in challenge. Qwilfish always looked angry but this one in particular looked especially irate.
It was in her fumbling that Roman must have upset a few of the Pokemon below her. When she had resurfaced and gotten a bearing on where she was, a second wild Pokemon flew out of the water at her. The woman covered her mouth in hopes that she would not shriek. As she looked harder at the creature, recognizing it as a qwilfish, she noticed something strange. Perhaps it was just the lighting but the Pokemon looked... a little off. It was almost as if it were not a shade of teal but instead more purple. That was when it clicked with the breeder. The Pokemon was an ever elusive shiny Pokemon. Something in it's biology had gone wrong causing it to appear a different color than the rest of its species. People searched far and wide for these rare specimen and yet here it was in front of her. If she caught the creature she could surely sell it. Or perhaps it would simply add to her regimen.
Regardless of what future the Qwilfish had, she knew she had to capture it and in order to do that she had to act quickly. This Pokemon was angered and would not fall into a trap as easily as the Wingull had. Roman threw a glance to Mini who had barely even noticed her trainer's disappearance. No, she would have to use the Pokeball that she had gotten her into the mess. She took a moment to gather herself before releasing her beloved Pokemon into the middle of the bay.
Once the button on the ball had been pressed a large red outline appeared. Toaster found himself floating in the water. At first it was disorientating to the Blitzle but after a moment he realized where he was. Now the tricky part was battling. Roman had spent plenty of time in her school days learning about type advantages, what attacks did what, abilities, and so on. But she was floating in the water, fighting a water Pokemon with an electric Pokemon. If Toaster missed with a single electric attack they would all be doomed. The trainer narrowed her eyes at the Qwilfish. She would have to distract the creature mildly in order to get to shallower waters so that her moveset was not so limited. She started to call out her moves as she swam backwards to the shore. "Toaster, Pursuit and then quick attack as best as you can towards me."
The Blitzle gave a small nod before his eyes narrowed as he lifted his head up, his mane beginning to tingle with power. In one swift motion he dropped his head, releasing the power in the form of a black wave that flew forward towards the Qwilfish. Once the energy had been released the Pokemon turned, diving underwater to avoid the waves. It was difficult to get going but once some momentum had gathered, the quick attack released itself, rocketing the creature forward to the point where he was standing before in the shallow water, his trainer behind him, running onto dry sand.
The trainer's pokemon caught the Qwilfish by surprise as the blast of energy shot it backwards. The Qwilfish stockpiled some of the residual energy from the attack before launching itself out of the water at breakneck speeds. A trail of water followed behind it as it approached the Blitzle. This water seemed to come alive after a moment, as the Qwilfish spun the water became a sort of whip coming from its tail. This particular pokemon seemed to have perfected the art of the aqua tail and it was aiming to slam right into the Blitzle. Though it likely wouldn't be too effective. Then again being a water pokemon the Qwilfish wasn't exactly an expert on electric types. He wasn't really a master tactician either. In his reckless assault he didn't realize the obvious bait into shallower water. The Pokemon could still battle here, but his opponent clearly had gained the upper hand.
Roman stood on the dry sand, her feet digging under a little just to make sure none of it was wet. She did not want to experience the power of her Pokemon first hand. Though, when she thought about it, why should she be immune when she was forcing another Pokemon to take the hits? She shook the thought from her head, not wanting to get into a moral debate with herself in the middle of a battle with an angry Pokemon. She narrowed her eyes as her Blitzle turned to face his opponent.
The Qwilfish came chasing right after the zebra-like Pokemon, perfect. Behind him though was a powerful attack. A trail of water followed him that he used to whip Toaster. It was a beautiful and perfect Aqua tail, something Roman wished to witness a thousand times more. That would of course mean that she needed to catch it. She had gotten lucky with the Wingull falling into her trap and just accepting the capture. The Qwilfish wouldn't be quite as easy, especially with that attack that slapped the Blitzle straight across the face. The trainer paused for a moment, shocked at how well her Pokemon took the hit. He did not make a sound though it was clear that there was pain. He was trying to be strong for her so that she would worry less. Still, she needed to protect her baby.
"Toaster, Thunder wave!" If the thunder wave hit, it would give them even more of an advantage. The Qwilfish would be struggling to move and it would be easier to capture in the long run. A paralyzed Pokemon was always more likely to stay in a Pokeball. The Blitzle started charging his attack. His mane collected electricity and began to glow yellow when Roman spoke again, "Follow it up with a shock wave!" The zebra seemed distracted for a moment, losing some of his charge yet firing away anyway. Bolts of thunder released themselves from the mane and headed towards the Qwilfish and water. Toaster gave no time to see if his attack succeeded before he was opening his mouth, more electricity gathering in his throat. A yellow light emitted from within before shooting out of his mouth. A beam of power was aimed straight for where the fish had been during the first attack. It caused a large deal of foam and spray to cloud the few of the enemy. Roman herself crossed her fingers, hoping her Pokemon had landed both hits.
Thunder Wave || Shock Wave
2/4 ooc// Performs CPR, revives this thread can you tell where I got distracted by the cbox? \o/
The electric attacks landed on target, though hitting a water pokemon in water with electricity wasn't very difficult. The Qwilfish shuttered from the blows as it prepared its counterattack. Leaping into the air it inhaled, puffing itself out before ejecting many of the barbs which covered its body. The entire area was peppered with small needles. It seemed more sluggish now, unleashing only one attack instead of a flurry.
The attacks were a success. Roman jumped in glee for a moment before the Qwilfish suddenly shot back with a wave of little pins. The pricked the skin of toaster and surrounded the water he was standing in. The pain caused him to flinch for a moment but he quickly regained his composure. The breeder expected more pins to fall from the sky but nothing else happened. Clearly the opponent was weak. That was a good sign. She readied her Pokeball deciding that the battle had gone on long enough. The paralysis would help her odds as well. With a grin she called out what she had hoped to be the final attack, "Toaster, give another shock wave!"
Her Blitzle gave a nod in understanding before he began to charge the attack, opening his mouth once again. The electricity shot out to the water again, aimed straight for the fish Pokemon. The breeder rushed into the water and threw the Pokeball at where the Pokemon was. If she was lucky, she would be catching her second Pokemon. Her team was growing so much in just a few minutes. Truth be told, she wasn't even sure what to do with all of the Pokemon she had caught. She knew Toaster would probably be her team leader and the rest were mostly just for breeding. She did not plan to battle a million Pokemon, no, she wanted to befriend all of them and earn their love.
Her attention turned to the Pokeball as it began to wiggle in the water. Roman took in a sharp breath before hiding her eyes. "Tell me what happens Toaster, I'm too nervous!" This would be a day that went down in her history book. Her first capture, her first battle and the beginning of her new life.
The second attack was crippling and left the water pokemon dazed. It hardly saw the incoming pokeball until it was too late, red light encapsulated it and pulled it inside the red and white shell of the ball. The Pokeball rolled to and fro in the shallow water as the pokemon struggled to free itself but ultimately the breeder had done well. Weakened and partially paralyzed the Qwilfish stood little chance of escape and it wasn't long before the pokeball clicked shut. A victory made all the sweeter by the pokemon's rare and exotic colorations. Surely someone would be interested in this oddity, or perhaps the breeder would like to keep it for herself. Either way it was undoubtable a worthwhile catch. The practice her pokemon got from the battle certainly wouldn't hurt either. As the foam from their battle settled it became clear that any other pokemon in the nearby area had been scared off by the sound of the battle. The likelihood of finding anymore at this time seemed slim.
The ball made it's famous clicking sound and for the second time that day Roman felt joy tingle through her bones. She grinned as she stepped out into the shallow waters where she picked up her newly caught Qwilfish. In one swift moment the Pokemon was clicked onto her belt loop where the rest of her occupied Pokeballs were. She turned to Toaster and gave a wide smile. "You did amazing out there buddy, you can come rest though." She removed the zebra's ball from her loop and quickly returned him to his home.
The attention of the breeder then turned to her second, very lazy Blitzle. She made her way up the shore to where her belongings were scattered in the sand. A single glance was cast from Mini as her trainer returned but nothing more. Roman shook her head before returning her final Pokemon to her container. It had been quite a successful day at the bay. Hopefully more would follow and soon. Her team would hopefully double again in another week, maybe sooner if she was lucky. The woman gave a small smile at the thought of successfully catching more and more Pokemon as she started her new life in the region. With her belongings packed away neatly in her bag, the breeder headed to the city. It was probably time to get some food and find more lodging for the night.
