Loki's first time out of the city went far better than he had expected, The tall figure walked with his perfect posture as always and his head held high but something about walking out here was far different than walking around the city. For the first time his mind hadn't been under pressure in an attempt to try and process an orchestra of chaotic sounds. There were no people having loud conversations or swearing loudly in traffic, no car horns or people trying to show off with the sounds of their engines. All Loki could hear was the subtle rustling sounds of trees moving. Occasionally a few leaves would fly in the red head's direction due to the slight breeze but it wasn't something he could complain about. Each breath he took seemed to somehow catch paranormally clean air.
Out here his nose wasn't assaulted by a plethora of unpleasant scents such as emissions from cars, cheap perfume that had been applied a little too generously or vile breath. Loki had assumed that the presence of the sun would make this day a bit too hot but the sun apparently wasn't in the mood for sending down harsh rays and instead simply warmed up the place. "This place isn't quite what I had expected. People made the wild sound like hell." Loki spoke in his usual calm and slick tone as his eye scanned the area.
Behind him followed an Electrike and a Charmander that hardly ever saw the inside of a pokeball. They were more like travel buddies than pets. Despite them being Pokemon it seemed that the city had messed them up to a certain degree as well. They appeared as though they hadn't seen the wild in ages. "The only thing this place needs now is a few women.." As usual Loki couldn't get the thought of females out of his mind. Loki had grown up with two loving older sisters and an amazing mother, So it sort of made sense why Women were the equivalent of gold to him. He enjoyed Their crazy ideals, melodious tones, and other things..
He looked back to his pokemon before speaking again. "I understand you two want to keep moving and exploring the place or looking for pokemon to battle but I sort of need a nap, I think it would be best for all of us. So go ahead and find a nice spot to nap,we can keep moving in two hours or so." Loki's slick tone was disrupted by a yawn he held back, he then began to sit near a tree. After a few seconds of comfortably leaning on the tree he dosed off. His two accomplices both appeared to be sleeping as well , sadly Pyrus had faked being asleep. The small charmander quickly woke up and continued exploring the area. Cerberus somehow had anticipated the charmander's trick so the electrike woke up as well and followed the Charmander. electrike, trike ,trike The electrike scolded the charmander commanding It to go back to sleep but the small reptile just kept moving so the electrike followed with a slight sigh.
@ open ### NOTES: I know the trainer is asleep but you can still generate wild pokemon for his pokemon to fight. The noise will wake him up. |

 Pair of SpinarakMale / Female Swarm From the tree limbs above two pairs of eyes watched the wayward Pokemon as they strayed further into the trees and away from their trainer. As the shadows grew longer a sound of skittering began to echo through the trees. They were relatively sparse on this route, thickets of leafy trees scattered here and there amongst the tall grass but were close enough for pokemon to jump from limb to limb if they were so inclined. A cool breeze swept through the trees, rustling the leaves. As if cued by the wind itself a wild Spinarak dropped from the tree in front of the Charmander. There was no threat, no warning. The Spinarak spat out a thick web at the fire Pokemon. Behind the two a second Spinarak skittered down a tree, it melded into the Electrike's shadow and crept forward before striking a few seconds after it's kin had. The male Spinarak followed up its Spider web attack with more projectile silk as it attempted to constrict the fire pokemon. Almost in unison the female Spinarak spit out strands of spider silk as well as their ambush neared its completion. These two were not the first to fall into the Spinarak's trap, though they were the largest and strangest catch the pair had ever targeted. Their recent successes however had made them bold and pokemon without their trainer were usually easy pickings. OOC: Usually the wild pokemon don't just attack, but it looked like you were looking for a fight.

Loki had become comfortable in his napping spot , completely unaware of his pokemon's choice to leave. Pyrus was still walking ahead and showed absolutely no intention of stopping soon, the charmander seemed eager to explore the wilderness. However, The electrike that followed didn't share that enthusiasm. As one of the most responsible pokemon Loki had ,the electrike felt that its job was to keep Pyrus and the newly found bronzor under control, the Bronzor wasn't much work anyway since it spent most of its time in the pokeball. Sadly enough that wasn't how it went with the third member of the team since the charmander had its own agenda which involved doing as he pleased. The electrike was still scolding the charmander in an attempt to stop him. When Pyrus came to an instant halt Cerberus smiled slightly, the electrike assumed that he had gotten through to the fire type pokemon until he noticed a web being sprung on Pyrus. Before he could step in to assist in any way another insect popped up from nowhere to attack the electrike. Naturally , the calm fire on the charmander's tail burst into a bigger flame due to its general disliking of being contained in small spaces. Without even thinking Pyrus released a smoke screen and used the cover provided by the smoke to use ember in the direction of the attacking insect. The charmander had hoped it would burn through the web and possibly even hit the insect. Meanwhile the electrike held his own by using howl in order to assist himself and alert Loki. When the insect launched its second attack the electrike replied by using thunder wave. meanwhile... The smell of smoke managed to bring a smile to the sleeping trainer, the scent seemed to remind him of something that had been missing in his dream. In that specific dream Loki had no cigar, luckily Loki was still in the dream world so in mere moments a cigar appeared in his hand. Just as he was about to light it, the sound of a familiar howl quickly shocked him out of his dream world. He quickly scanned his surroundings and remembered about the short nap he had decided to take, oddly enough none of his Pokemon were here before he could panic Loki noticed a sudden bright orange flame that came from Pyrus' ember he could quickly follow that and the slight traces of smoke in the air. These traces were quite easy to follow, Loki began to sprint towards the source of all these traces and in a few seconds he had reached the sight of a battle where he could see two insects apparently fighting his pokemon. A twisted smirk made its way onto Loki's face " I doze off for a few minutes and you two have already found yourselves playmates?" Loki hadn't taken much time to simply do training so this was the perfect opportunity. @tag ### NOTES: ^^ Yup, that was actually why I made this thread. Pair of SpinarakMale / Female Swarm As the smoke erupted from the Charmander and clouded the area the male Spinarak lept into the air, grabbing onto the branch above it and narrowly dodging the embers. The fire did however incinerate the webs which were highly flammable. The went up in a puff of smoke and a flash of fire faster than you could blink. If there was one thing the Spinarak's hated it was fire. Well, fire and bird pokemon, between the two it wa a bit of a toss up as to which they hated more. If there was more time they would have contemplated this but as it stood they couldn't invest the time into such a venture at the moment. The male hung upside down from the branch and shot a poisoned barb in the Charmander's general direction. Smoke obscured much of the Pokemon but it's fiery tail burnt bright giving the Spinarak a target, albeit a hazy one. The female Spinarak recoiled a bit at the Electrike's howl but didn't back down. She stood her ground as the wave of electricity surged over her, sparks arcing across her limbs and into the ground. The Spinarak twitched a bit but still managed to move after a brief delay, darting forward with fury swipes at her foe.
Male: Poison Sting at Charmander
Female: Furry Swipes at Electrike

Loki watched the battle between the wild bugs and his own pokemon proceed, it appeared as though all four pokemon acted purely on instinct at this stage. The rate at which they acted and reacted was faster than most battles he had seen. Usually trainers would make battles drag out with their boring banter, threats,comments and insults. Out here though there were no trainers to run their mouths for no reason, pokemon got straight to "it". Loki's eyes had to keep up with two battles, it appeared as though all four pokemon just ruthlessly attacked in a random sequence that the redhead had to now try and analyse all at once and think of counter attacks.
The charmander's tail instinctively burnt brighter when it noticed that its ember attack managed to miss the insect clumsily. Loki smiled before speaking " use dodge and give ember another shot, if you want to.." Loki had picked up on his charmander's mood swing. Instantly the charmander leapt out of the way , rolled slightly to get a different angle of attack then used ember again. Now that the situation was more or less handled ,The trainer's eyes quickly swayed over to the electrike. He looked in that direction just in time to notice fury strikes landing on his electrike. It didn't take too long for him to think of a counter,Loki would play on the electrike's strength and attempt to paralyse the bug type."Thunder wave, twice! We're not letting up until that bug is completely paralysed. the electrike quickly followed the instruction without hesitation.

Pair of SpinarakMale / Female Swarm The male Spinarak launched itself from the tree branch at the Charmander after it's previous attack was dodged, it's little spindly legs outstretched. As it flew through the air the fire pokemon's ember hit it dead on. Had it been a stronger fire attack the bug would have been utterly toasted by now but as it stands the attack only severely singed it. Smoke trailed after tiny hairs on it's body were burnt, producing a rather unpleasant smell. The Spinarak's moment continued to carry it forward and it landed on the Charmander, trying to get a good grasp so it could constrict the pokemon and leech life. A few feet away it's companion was having better luck. The Electrike had taken hits and as of yet didn't seem to be attacking. The female still felt strong despite the electricity arching over it and making it troublesome to move. This particular Spinarak however fought differently from it's companion. Staring down the Electrike the Spinarak looked into it's foes eyes and materialized a frightening mirage in the form of Night Shade. A much larger shadowy copy of the Spinarak appeared above the real one, launching itself at the Electrike before exploding into a cloud of haunting energy. The Spinarak attempted to follow this attack up with another but found itself unable to move properly.
Male: Constrict & Leech Life at Charmander
Female: Night Shade at Electrike
