Nattousai Fang Pokemon N I D O K I N G male. poison point. Nattousai stumbled across an old cave on his initial travels to find some new Pokemon as a kid, and with only Koffing as his guide at the time, was still very new with the dangers of the world. The cave proved to contain all sorts of dangerous Pokemon catching Nattousai unaware. The unprepared trainer with just his Koffing to aid him, came to find out that the cave was a breeding ground for Nidoking and Nidoqueen. When he discovered this, it was almost too late to turn back and leave their breeding space. He was nearly viciously attacked by the group of those Pokemon until he noticed a small male Nidoran injured, and that the surrounding swarm of Nidoqueen and Nidoking were just being protective. Nattousai removed a potion from his backpack and offered to help restore the Nidoran's vitality. The Nidoqeeun and Nidoking were hesitant at first, as was the rest of the pack, but seeing the Trainer's seriousness, they allow Nattousai to spray the potion on the injured leg of Nidoran. Ultimately this restored its health and quickly got it back into shape.
Without having to use his Koffing to smokescreen the place and escape from such powerful Pokemon, instead Nattousai was thanked by the pack of rough skinned Pokemon and allowed him to leave safely without harm. Little did Nattousai know after some distance out from the cave, the little Nidoran he healed decided to follow him. Turning around, Nattousai sees the Nidoran surprised by its lurking, but the Nidoran remains by Nattousai's side and smiles at him with love. Nattousai assumes it wants to be caught as a returned favor for healing it, and as a thank you, so Nattousai captures and befriends himself a new Nidoran later evolving it into a powerful Nidoking for his party.
The Nidoking is a strong willed, proud Pokemon that aims to please its master, forever grateful to Nattousai for what he has done for it. In battle it can be aggressive, but outside of battle, when just spending quality time with Nattousai, it becomes as innocent and docile as a child.
W E E Z I N G male. levitate. Far before he began as a Trainer, Nattousai lived next to a garbage waste facility due to his dad's supervisor position there as a kid. His dad worked all the time forcing Nattousai to be alone during long hours of the day and being unable to make friends or go out and have fun, also forcing Nattousai to grow up and be independent a little quicker. He was making his own meals at just five years old, doing his own laundry, studying homework endlessly late into the night at eight years old, and a year later finally being able to nearly survive on his own. But one day he was tired of the lack of freedom he had due to his hard working father and his mother being away all the time overseas as a Pokemon Researcher. He felt lonely. So he began to venture out into the toxic dump site near his house where his father worked and started to collect things over there, combine them, recycle them into something more useful, he became a repair man of sorts and started filling his room with knick knacks he would either find or create from junk he found.
His father didn't like this, and often would periodically go into Nattousai's room and throw the things away. Saddened by this, Nattousai would use the toxic waste dump as an escape of sorts, spending more time out there than in his own home. One day a Koffing notices his sadness and tries to cheer him up. It worked. For whatever reason a Wild Koffing took a liking to Nattousai and overtime, Nattousai would make more trips to the dump and the Koffing would always be there to greet him and make him laugh. This went on for a year until Nattousai turned ten and his father finally let him go out on his own and become a Pokemon Trainer. Nattousai was gifted a few Poke' Balls by his father and sent him on his Pokemon journey. The first thing Nattousai did was visit the Koffing and capture it, with the two having become close after so many months of visiting with eachother.
Through a close bond and many training sessions, Nattousai's first Pokemon ever, Koffing, grows to be strong and loyal to Nattousai, causing it to evolve into a Weezing; a truly explosive and fulfilling companion for Nattousai's journey. That is how Weezing came to join his team.
Weezing is extremely protective of Nattousai being Nattousai's first Pokemon and best friend, and is cautious of other people. When it comes to other Pokemon, however, it tends to like to socialize and talk with them, but will generally steer clear of other humans.M U K male. poison touch. After being home sick along his journey, Nattousai returned to his father's house on his fourteenth birthday only to discover his father had moved away without telling him or bothering to keep in touch. And Nattousai's mother had only written to him every once in a blue moon. Nattousai came to realize that his father had remarried and formed another family while he was away, and this was a hard thing to comprehend for Nattousai who was still very much a child. So Nattousai instead returns to his old house to a stranger answering the door and explaining the bad news of his dad's departure. Nattousai was informed however that his father had left him a gift, which was a Pokemon, a Muk to be exact that his father had evolved from a Grimer while Nattousai was on his adventure.
Hesitant at first, Nattousai refused to accept anything more from his dad after what his father had done, but Nattousai had been informed the Pokemon needed a new home that this new resident could not provide for it, so with no other choice, Nattousai agrees to take the Pokemon and raise it as his own, and with this new Pokemon, he will always carry the memory of when him and his father were once a family.
This particular Muk is stubborn, and likes to do things at its own pace and on its own terms, it will listen to Nattousai, but not without some laziness or a little complaining. Nattousai always has to keep training this Pokemon to get it to obey, their relationship has since gotten better.
C R O B A T female. inner focus. An accidental catch, this Crobat started out as a Zubat when Nattousai was camping in the woods one night after a long day of journeying towards Moroii. The night was calm and quiet, not a critter in sight, until a Zubat comes twirling down from a tree and crashing into Nattousai's sleeping bag. The Zubat was trying to learn how to fly, it was just a young thing, and it wasn't quite getting the hang of it. Nattousai looks around for its family, and was unable to locate any other Zubat or Golbat or any Bat Pokemon for that matter, it was all alone and hurt. The Pokemon was abandoned due to its inability to fly and left for dead. The Zubat was lonely and shunned for its lacking abilities. Nattousai felt sorry for the creature, and slowly began nursing it back to health with basic medical supplies on hand. Far away from any Pokemon Center, and judging by the injuries, Nattousai acted as fast as he could to speed the healing process along with ointments and bandages. It took a couple days to reach a Pokemon Center, but eventually with the Zubat cradled in his arms surviving off of only some bandages and ointments, Nattousai and the Pokemon reach the Center and the Zubat is healed.
After getting healed up, Nattousai goes straight away with teaching it how to fly. The Zubat struggled at first, but with some encouragement from Nattousai and alot of patience, it finally mastered the art of flying and took to the skies stretching its wings for the first time. Afterwards, Nattousai let it enjoy its freedom and began continuing his journey. He felt accomplished and glad he did such a nice thing for a Pokemon in need and wished it well. But only a few minutes went by and the flapping of wings could be heard behind Nattousai, so he turns around and sees the Zubat following his every movement. Nattousai laughs and urges it to be free, but it continues to follow. Nattousai was confused as to why it wouldn't want to enjoy its first time flying on its own, but instead of trying to figure anything out, the Zubat flies on top of Nattousai's backpack and starts rummaging through it. Wondering what it was doing, the Zubat nudges one of Nattousai's Poke' Balls and captures itself within the device.
After connecting with Nattousai through its healing process, Nattousai gained a new friend. Originally not planning to catch a Zubat, it kind of found its way to him somehow, so Nattousai decides to train it through a range of many challenging battles. After some tough fights, the Zubat evolves into a lovable Golbat and the bond between Nattousai and Golbat solidifies into a close knit relationship. It wasn't many more training battles after that in which the Golbat became dedicated as Nattousai's loyal friend and evolved into Crobat, at that point the two could never be separated and Crobat became Nattousai's shadow going wherever he went loving and trusting her trainer completely.
Crobat is very playful and lovable. It loves to cuddle with Nattousai and interact with other people and Pokemon in silly ways. It especially loves the art of flying, and will always volunteer to scout out areas for Nattousai and go on a search outing whenever it can for its Trainer. Nattousai doesn't often need Crobat to search for things and scout ahead, but it enjoys it, so Nattousai tries to let it out and fly every now and then, he calls this Pokemon out more often than his others for its love of being outside.
D R A P I O N male. battle armor. Originally a nuisance at Crystal Bay, a friend of Nattousai had called him up informing him that a strong Wild Drapion was terrorizing the place and scaring away travelers and other Wild Pokemon. It was throwing such a fit that no Trainer wanted to go near it and stop its tantrum, so Nattousai was asked by his buddy to try and stop it. Obliging the friend and helping the people and Pokemon in the area, Nattousai heads to Crystal Bay and confronts the Drapion trying to talk to it and find out what's wrong, the Drapion didn't listen however, and started charging towards Nattousai blindly. Having to stop this madness, Nattousai sends out his Nidoking to do battle with the crazed scorpion, and whittles down its health with some well placed ground and poison attacks to calm it down.Once the Drapion was exhausted, Nattousai takes a closer look at it and notices something was stuck in its spine, a small hook possibly from one of the hooks off the bay that it had got stuck on. Nidoking plucks it out and tosses it away. Suddenly the Drapion is soothed and thanks Nattousai with a comforting moan.
Nattousai's buddy was present during the whole thing and lends Nattousai a Great Ball suggesting he capture the Pokemon. When Drapion heard this, it didn't detest it, and simply sat there, drained from the previous battle, allowing Nattousai to capture it. Nidoking agrees as well, thinking Drapion would be a fine companion, and without further debate, Nattousai chucks the Great Ball at it, capturing it without a problem. Nattousai was cheered for his efforts of taming the beast and he says his goodbyes to his friend. He brings the Pokemon with him on his journey and uses him in battles every now and again, but because of Drapion's chaotic battle style, Nattousai doesn't use him as much because he is so destructive.
The Pokemon's personality itself is clumsy, which is partly why it has no regard or remorse while it battles other Trainers or Wild Pokemon. It will literally destroy everything around it in the process of a fight and not even think about what it is doing. It follows commands from Nattousai just fine and regards the Trainer highly as a friend, but it does the commands in a very unproductive manner.A R B O K male. shed skin. Obtained as an Ekans at first, Nattousai had come across the Ekans at a traveling Circus show. The Ekans was part of an act in which it would coil itself into different shapes and sizes that the performers themselves would try to utilize as things like hoops, hurdles, and even as a rope at some points. Ekans ability to coil and stretch and twist and turn on command helped the performers make their show more magical and fascinating.
After seeing sales go down, however, and a lack of interest and audience participation in their Circus acts, the group of Circus performers had to shut down their troupe and find work elsewhere. They then put up fliers and internet ads as well as ads in newspapers and radio stations that they were getting rid of and donating all of their Circus stuff to whomever wishes to have them. Nattousai jumped on the advertising and tracked down the Circus Troupe in Yumao where they were getting rid of most of their Circus equipment. But by the time Nattousai got there, he found nothing but some juggling balls and a clown nose. The owner of the troupe saw the disappointment in Nattousai's face as Nattousai explained how he saw their show and loved their acts wanting them to stay in business and desiring to take a piece of their memory with him.
The owner thought about it a minute, and informed Nattousai he had one thing he could give him. The owner pulls out a Poke'Ball and places it in Nattousai's hand explaining that it was the same Ekans he saw in the show and that it had too much potential to be stuck in Circus, so he gave Nattousai the Ekans as a token of their appreciation for Nattousai's love of their performance knowing it was going to be in good hands. Nattousai didn't quite know what to say or feel or think, but he took the Pokemon happily and thanked the Circus Troupe a thousand times over for their kindness assuring them Ekans would be just fine. Feeling privileged to have received such a special and meaningful Pokemon, Nattousai starts training it later on, and notices an immediate difference from when it performs to when it battles, and how very strong this Ekans was in a fight as well as in artistic ability.
Nattousai tries to keep some of its Circus experience in play during fights giving it an unexpected edge, and while also implementing fresh tactics that worked amazingly in the field of battle. After some training and forming new strategies using the Ekans with the rest of Nattousai's Pokemon, the Ekans felt fulfilled, and evolved into Arbok showing to be an even more capable force to be reckoned with on Nattousai's team.
Arbok is a very, very smart Pokemon, possibly the smartest out of all of Nattousai's Pokemon. It is cunning and wise, and plays with the heart of strategy and advantages whenever it can get them. It likes exposing its opponents weaknesses and allowing Nattousai to do the carefully articulated order of attacks for maximum results. Outside of battle it generally keeps its relationship with Nattousai professional, but sometimes its affectionate side comes out and gives Nattousai a lick on the cheek once in a while. It doesn't like other people to witness its softer side, and is generally mean to other Pokemon.
T O X I C R O A K male. poison touch. Discovered as a Croagunk in the heart of the Terram Mountains, Nattousai decided in the middle of his journey as he passed the mountains that he wanted to debunk a rumor, a story that a dojo was somewhere on the mountains. So he ventured up the mountains searching everywhere for this said dojo, which was supposed to be challenging and a perfect training opportunity. After searching for hours Nattousai had just about given up, that is until he was greeted by a Monk Trainer who was an elderly man. The man informed Nattousai that the dojo existed and lead him to a cave deep in the mountains. The cave was vast with lanterns lighting up the place and a fully functional wood floor for sparring and even windows installed to let sunlight in. Taken aback by the existence and beauty of it, Nattousai just had to spar inside. The man told Nattousai he was lucky, that they were holding a Pokemon Tournament today with ten other Trainers participating in the form of five rounds, and the winner of all five rounds is crowned champion of the dojo and would receive a Pokemon egg as the prize.
Intrigued, Nattousai participates in the tournament, defeats all other winning trainers through bracket battling, and is gifted the Pokemon egg. After receiving the purple and blue looking egg, Nattousai stows it safely in his backpack keeping it warm and moves on with his travels. Before long, the egg began to shake, and then hatch. Nattousai sets the egg down on the ground and out came a baby Croagunk to greet him. The Croagunk instantly recognizes Nattousai as its father, and spends every waking moment with him. After it had naturally grown some, Nattousai sends it out to train in the Mountains once it was big enough, and it began to grow and strengthen at a surprisingly quick pace. The Pokemon grew to love Nattousai and regard him as a best friend and still a father to it while also growing to love the art of battling.
Eventually the Pokemon grew too strong for its own good, which forced it to evolve into a Toxicroak and fully mesh with Nattousai devoting its life and attention to the Trainer after becoming fully developed. It was the last Pokemon Nattousai had captured before becoming a full time Gym Leader, but it was also the first and only Pokemon Nattousai decided to take with him when he wanted to go out and see the world again, starting fresh as a Trainer, while still keeping his day job at the gym. Nattousai chose this Pokemon to go with him on his second journey due to its unwavering trust to Nattousai and passion for battling and progressing. And also because the rest of Nattousai's team was too powerful and would prove less challenging for him to learn on his new journey.
Toxicroak is a very focused, battle hardened, carefully trained Pokemon. It's intense in a fight, and great with strategy moves and tactile maneuvering. Nattousai knows he can always count on this Pokemon to see him through a hard battle. Outside of battling Toxicroak is pretty quiet and reserved, but never hides its bond with Nattousai, which is a deep, deep chemistry.
G R A V E L E R male. Rock Head.
A battle hardened Wild Pokemon, this tough guy was caught along Route 7 as Nattousai's second ever Pokemon for his new journey as a Geodude. This particular Rock Type Pokemon saw Nattousai and Toxicroak walk passed it as they were traveling and exploring the route, not liking their presence in its territory, the Geodude gives it a threatening glare fumed with arrogance and pride, protective of its land, and this forced Nattousai and his Toxicroak to engage in a battle with it.
The battle was hard fought and lasted a good while, it finally ended when the Toxicroak got the best of it with a Sucker Punch attack and a speed advantage fainting this scarred and aged Geodude. The Pokemon was proven to be super strong and quite arrogant, and also making for one that is tough to train due to it having a lack of respect for Nattousai upon being caught taking its loss against him and his Poison Type Pokemon personal.
After a battle with a Swirlix during an attempt to clear a Swirlix swarm on The Crossroads, Nattousai uses his Geodude to battle one of those Pokemon and easily achieves victory, but the entire time Geodude battles its own way instead of listening to any commands and ends up nearly destroying one of the Routes along the Crossroads in the process, creating a giant pot hole for the area workers to clean later. Unhappy with his Geodude, Nattousai catches the Swirlix once the battle is over and wishes to continue on and stop the rest of the swarm, but Geodude, overzealous after its victory, takes it upon himself to use one of Nattousai's evolution stones, and evolves into a destructive Graveler.
Shocked Nattousai tries to understand why it evolved itself, but he gets no answer. The newly evolved Graveler returns itself to his Poke' Ball and a worker from the Crossroads with a truck full of Repel appears, telling Nattousai to move along and head off the Route, explaining that he would take it from here finishing off the swarm and sounding upset with Nattousai about the pothole his Pokemon had created in the road. Embarrassed, Nattousai leaves and exits the area allowing the worker and his men to finish the job on their own.
The Graveler is now just starting to get used to Nattousai and his Toxicroak, the progress is slow, quite slow, but it is learning how to adapt with baby steps. Personality wise, the living rock is very arrogant, very aggressive in and outside of battle. It has convinced itself it is incredibly powerful and nearly unbeatable, but that way of thinking is a downfall of it due to its habit of being blinded by rage after things don't always go its way for one reason or another. Trying to treat it more as a friend than a slave, Nattousai constantly calls this Pokemon out for chats and reassurance to try and connect with it further, but so far it has hardly done much good, so the Pokemon continues to give Nattousai flack until a bond is somehow made and a mutual connection is forged. This Pokemon does not follow orders well when given by Nattousai, and needs alot of social and communicative work with other Trainers and Pokemon to be fully calm and collected in itself.
L A R V I T A R female. Guts.
Found after a long and painful trek in the rocky and grassy horizons of Route 7, Nattousai had come across this rare Pokemon in a fight with a Marowak. This female Larvitar was just a baby and ruthlessly bullied by the Marowak before Nattousai stepped in and lured the Larvitar away from the Marowak and away from danger. Nattousai then tried convincing this Pokemon to join him with a promise that he would father it and give it a loving new life free of the dangers of the wild. He was interrupted however, when an Ace Trainer and her Tyranitar barged in on the two with the Larvitar claiming to be the Tyranitar's baby.
Peeved by her presence and accusations of wishing for the Tyranitar to reclaim its child in the Larvitar Nattousai had rescued and found first, Nattousai explains his reasoning to acquire this Larvitar after promising he would take care of it seemingly convincing the Ace Trainer of his good intentions. The Trainer sees his truth and allows him to capture it, however her Tyranitar; the baby's mother, see's it differently and demands a battle of the Trainer's might. So after a heated battle in which Nattousai uses his loyal Toxicroak, him and his Pokemon prove to be quite the worthy foes for the mother Tyranitar and the bout ends in a draw.
Afterwards Nattousai is then granted permission to take the Larvitar with him on his journey and thus the Trainer and her Tyranitar, with their blessing, leave him in peace to bring the baby Pokemon with him into a new home and new adventure where it would grow to be strong and ferocious.
The Larvitar is a very playful and shy Pokemon. It is very attached to Nattousai and thinks him to be her father, it likes being babied and is a bit too comfortable with its Trainer. It struggles with being tough and a real force in battle, but it learns and picks things up quickly, relying on Nattousai to guide it into victory and the annals of progression. Because of it's lax nature however, it trusts other people and Pokemon too easily and without merit, it loves everyone unless it is purposefully antagonized in which it won't be afraid to fight back if it has to.
S W I R L I X male. Sweet Veil.
A cute but disgusting little thing, the Swirlix was caught by Nattousai during a civil service on the Crossroads to help clean up a tipped over truck full of sweets. The service call was to take care of a swarm of Swirlix and defeat as many as possible whom ended up flocking to the truck after smelling the sweet scent of it. He managed to find one Swirlix alone in his path and defeated it quickly with his Geodude. However, the Geodude was far too powerful and overkilled it in a way, destroying a chunk of the road and creating a sizable crater along the path.
After the Swirlix was easily defeated, The Geodude evolved after its victory into a Graveler, and Nattousai catches the Swirlix in a Poke' Ball before his hot headed Graveler decided to do further damage to the poor Pokemon. Upon capture the Swirlix left a nasty mess of its own with rainbow colored puke after eating too many sweets and leaving a sticky residue all over the road. The mess the Swirlix made and the destruction Nattousai's Graveler left was frowned upon after some workers showed up to clean after such a disaster telling Nattousai to take his leave and expressing upset for all the chaos him and his Pokemon caused.
Because of the way Nattousai and his Pokemon handled the situation, and their lack of respect for the environment around them, Nattousai couldn't finish out his service to the workers, and finish off the swarm. So he left the Crossroads with a freshly evolved Geodude and new Swirlix, but with a shameful guilt for the trouble he caused.
This particular Swirlix is an incredibly zany and silly Pokemon. It loves to take risks and toss itself into danger at the first hint of it. It's hyperactive and has far too much energy to contain in its Poke' Ball for long. Nattousai likes to use this Pokemon alot for the simple fact of letting it get its energy out. It's not the greatest in battle, but it is quite adorable, and rather enjoys making messes and eating....lots of eating, especially of the sweetest variety. It will snag any candy or dessert within seconds of seeing it whether the food belongs to it or not. Even a variety of food, no matter the kind, it will consume on contact if given the chance. It throws up often and usually uses up all its energy at once leaving very little control over its endurance and unfortunately uses so much energy that it exhausts quicker than most other Pokemon, and for some reason it likes to do this and become hyper right after it eats, making it more likely to puke and grow sick afterwards. It doesn't like to battle on an empty stomach.
M A R O W A K female. Lightning Rod.
Originally encountered along Route 7 in the harsher, rockier part of the area, this Marowak was seen bullying a baby Larvitar over territorial domain and also to assert its dominance upon the land. This Marowak was queen, dominating over the entire Route claiming it as its own. It had no problem roughing up any weaklings or other Pokemon in its way, or fighting others just because it could. On the first encounter with Nattousai, Nattousai sends out his Toxicroak to try and stop the fighting between it and the Larvitar. The Marowak wasn't one to listen and stood its ground willing to fight the Trainer for protecting the Larvitar instead of finding peaceful resolution. Fortunately, the Larvitar fled in fear away from the Marowak while Nattousai distracted, but unfortunately the Larvitar was only a baby, and injured badly from the Marowak's violent outburst. So Nattousai decides its best to leave the Marowak alone, and chase after the Larvitar to ensure its wounds could be healed and to make sure it didn't get picked off by any other Pokemon in the area due to its bad condition.
Eventually Nattousai catches the Larvitar, leaves the route, heals it, and allows the little Pokemon to join him on his journey. Now the Larvitar is stronger than ever rather than suffering in the wild. After some thinking, Nattousai returns to the route to hunt down this Marowak again and allow the Larvitar to get its revenge. It wasn't long before the Marowak presented itself to the Trainer, fearlessly approaching Nattousai and his freshly caught Larvitar, remembering exactly the fight it engaged in with the baby Larvitar previously and seeing how it has grown with contempt. Instantly the Marowak charges the returning Larvitar and the two engage in a long fight for round two. Larvitar was no match for the Marowak however, but manages to almost take it down with it despite its young age and inexperience in battle.
Nattousai recalls the Larvitar and sends out his Toxicroak to finish the job. In one quick deadly combination of a Mud Bomb and a Sludge Bomb, the Marowak is defeated. Nattousai then chucks the Poke' Ball at the downed creature, and captures it. Afterwards, he has forced it to bond with the Larvitar it bullied, and now both the Larvitar and the Marowak, once sworn enemies, are on the same team and proper comrades. The Marowak isn't entirely used to being trained quite yet, nor is it Nattousai's biggest fan, but it tolerates its fate now, and is slowly building up to its new life.
The Marowak's personality is full on intimidating. She is a leader through and through, and can handle herself in any situation. She adapts easily to her surroundings and against other Pokemon in battle, she is very good at the art of battle, and can usually pick up on attack patterns of opposing Pokemon or Trainers pretty quickly, dodging and countering foes with little trouble after a few turns. It has trained itself harshly in the wild, a brave survivor in many different conditions and scenarios and sharp in the call of the fight. It never backs down from anyone or anything, and will prove itself whenever, and wherever in every aspect of skill. It listens to Nattousai while also keeping a secret tactic of its own. Whenever it thinks Nattousai isn't making the best commands it will do something different instead, but only when it is in a losing battle. Outside of a fight it is a quiet, analytical, and reserved creature. She speaks with actions often, not words.
M A G I K A R P male. Swift Swim.
This Magikarp was caught along Route 4 using a fishing rod and is by far the easiest catch Nattousai has ever had. The Pokemon instantly wanted to join Nattousai's team and made no fuss or engaged in any battle with the Gym Leader. It was introduced to Nattousai's Swirlix and enjoyed the Pokemon's friendliness towards it. It had decided life in the sea was no longer fun or enjoyable, but moreso dangerous and tedious. The choice to join Nattousai on his journey was a personal one and also a necessary one, for it didn't see itself surviving in the wild for much longer without the help and support of a Trainer.
The fish had lived quite a long life in the sea, and was stronger than other Magikarp in the area. It saw no argument to be fed and toted around and kept healthy in the hands of a human. It liked the idea of being someone's Pokemon, it was very much exhausted with its old life. Now a part of a team effort and in the tender care of Nattousai and the rest of his party, Magikarp prepares itself for the many adventures to come, and the exciting day in the not so distant future, where it can become a mighty Gyrados!
This Magikarp is very friendly towards pretty much anybody and anything. It constantly seeks to please. Gullible isn't exactly the right word for it, but rather, kind and open minded to its experiences. Living a life solely in the sea, it hasn't had any time out of the ocean and to experience other parts of the world or other Pokemon and Trainers very much. It's anxious to see new sights and smell new smells, taste new things, meet new creatures of all kinds. It desires to learn and grow and be something. It wants to impress Nattousai and prove itself all the time. Though nearly useless, it will fight and splash its way to a victory any way it can at the request of its Trainer!

Caught after a special encounter with a Pumpkin shaped barrel harboring rare and delicious treats, this Litwick was seen protecting the golden candy the barrel contained and stopped Nattousai from taking anything from within it. It didn't take much, however, for Nattousai to talk this Litwick into joining his team after deciding he didn't really need the candy after all from the barrel.
The Litwick was more than willing to join him, but only if he would stop being a thief and taking things. That included the other barrels with the special candies in them scattered around the region mysteriously. Making sure he doesn't take anything else that didn't belong to him, the Litwick joins his party as an observer and guard of sorts of other treasures and interesting things Nattousai may wish to take as his own.
There isn't any logical reason the Litwick is the way it is, there is no way to tell why she has such a possessive, protective, and even observant personality. It may be perhaps the way she was brought up in the wild, it may be because she wants something to watch, to own, and to take care of, to feel like she has a purpose. But one thing was certain, she felt part of her purpose was to join Nattousai on his journey, and become more fulfilling in her ghostly life. It was a decision that felt right to her, and her curiosity about Nattousai and what he could do to make her more useful in the world got the best of her.
The Litwick has a flirtatious personality in addition to her possessiveness and controlling ways, occasionally she likes to take up all of Nattousai's attention and time to both make his other Pokemon jealous, and also to keep a close eye on the Gym Leader in case he was to do something mischievous or maybe not entirely smart. She would monitor him to make good choices instead of bad ones, she liked doing that. When she doesn't get enough affection, she will throw a fit or try and steal some of Nattousai's things to get him to spend time with her. She has not fully matured yet, and has many personality issues that are currently being worked on by the Gym Leader little by little. Only some progress has been made.

After the Gym Leaders known as Nattousai and Jodie invaded its home in the woods of the Lost Shrine, this Meowstic attacked, scared that the leaders wanted to cause trouble. Out of fear, it engaged in battle with the Leaders alongside its friend and partner, a female Meowstic who it was sharing the home with. Having no choice but to fight the angered and skiddish Meowstics, Nattousai sent out his Geodude forgetting how destructive the Rock Pokemon can be in small spaces especially, and battled the Meowstics with Jodie's Haunter in a long and drawn out engagement. During the process of the battle the whole house almost caved in on the Pokemon and the Trainers, and a fire started from all the destruction of the bout. After the female Meowstic fainted, the male Meowstic remained. But it remained horrified and unsure what to do once the fire started and its partner fainted. The lone Meowstic was prepared to keep fighting, as was Nattousai's Geodude, but to avoid the danger of the now burning building, Jodie and Nattousai surrendered the battle and recalled their Pokemon and then proceeded to help the two Meowstic escape the fire.
After a long suffering attempt of escape, Nattousai sent out his Toxicroak to help guide everybody out. Jodie had helped carry the fainted female Meowstic out to safety, and Toxicroak paved a path to outside with the male Meowstic slung over his shoulder. Eventually everybody made it safely out of the burning house, and through a team effort, the fire was put out. But the battle and the flames had exhausted the female Meowstic and it was still faint, so Jodie had no alternative but to capture it safely into a Poke' Ball to take it to a Pokemon Center. Once it was captured safely, the male Meowstic soon followed suit, seeing no other future in the wild after its home was desecrated, and its partner became Jodie's new Pokemon, Nattousai asked the male Meowstic to join him and it agreed with the promise that it would be reunited with its female counterpart, getting frequent visits with her if need be.
After everything that happened, the Meowstic's personality had changed drastically since the night it was captured and joined Nattousai's team. Before it was a very protective and desperate Pokemon doing whatever it could to survive. It was always with its partner, a female Meowstic, wherever she went, he too followed. The two worked together to live day by day in the wild and occupy their former home in the Lost Shrine woods, unfortunately because of this, they grew violent and untrusting of humans and any other Pokemon. Once they claimed their territory, they fought for it, as most Pokemon might do. This particular Meowstic wanted a life of safety and ease, but to do that, it had to make hard choices, and live constantly in the shadows, along with its partner, the two shared a similar but not identical belief.
After its home blew up into flames that entire ideal was ruined and changed forever. Once Nattousai captured and tamed it, the Pokemon's true colors showed. The Meowstic changed into a caring, considerate Pokemon, wishing to look out for other Pokemon so they would never have to be in the same situation that it was forced in with their homes tarnished. It likes to lookout for others, including its Trainer Nattousai, claiming him as its territory, and being there to protect and guard him. In battle it will be more aggressive towards badly trained, inconsiderate Pokemon and other Trainers, but less violent and more defensive towards kind, and loving Pokemon and Trainers. It has a supreme sense of judgment, and will use its best sense of someone or something else to help motivate its actions, good or bad.
