Ellie came out of the woods and onto Road 1. She was a disheveled mess, with small branches and bugs on her hair, along with a healthy amount of dirt and mud on her very expensive sundress and shoes. Ellie made an embarrassment out of herself at Yayli town, and her perfect solution was to run far away from the town like a madman. Despite the fact that Ellie was a mess, both mentally and physically, she felt free for the first time in her life. She smiled a bit, before walking towards the next part of her story, Route 1. Ellie started digging into her enormous purse, before bringing out a gold-plated music player. She then proceeds to bring out an old fashioned boom box, and then placing it on the ground. Ellie then puts on a pair of earplugs, before plugging in the music player to the boom box, and then pressing play. The boom box then starts playing generic electronic dance music on max volume, trying to draw out irritated Pokemon.
The Bellsprout poked its head out of a tuft of grass behind the woman, trying to determine the source of the commotion. It narrowed its eyes and peered at the woman. People, always tramping about through its home, making noise and being bothersome. The Bellsprout detested people. Sneaking out of the grass it moved step by step, inching its way forward on spindly limbs. It darted from one clump of grass to another as it stayed out of sight, rolling into bushes, behind rocks and generally being unnecessarily stealthy. It could have simply walked up to the boom box but it got there eventually despite its dramatic flair. Flattening itself against the boombox the pokemon grabbed a small rock between its leaf hands and paused for a moment before jumping atop the contraption. Raising the rock in the air it wavered here, letting the sun glint off the stone for a moment before it brought it down. Hitting the boombox over and over to little avail.
Ellie lazily stared at the Bellsprout as it angrily trudged over to the boom box. The Flower Pokemon wasn't a very exciting first opponent for Cleffa, Ellie's special little legendary pokemon, but it would have to do. As the Bellsprout jumped up and down on the boom box, doing little to stop the outpour of music from the dated object, Ellie dug out Cleffa's Pokeball from her enormous purse, before pecking it just a bit, smearing lipstick all over the Pokeball. Ellie turned off the music and then shouted "Cleffa, rock the block with Charm and Pound!"as she threw the Pokeball towards the Bellsprout. It landed right next to the boom box, before it opened and revealed a bright red light pouring out of the Pokeball, taking form into the cute little button that was Cleffa. Somehow, Cleffa had heard Ellie's command, and seductively winked at the Bellsprout, creating an awkward situation for both Ellie & the Bellsprout. Cleffa then charged towards the Bellsprout, arms wide open, mounting an "attack"?
Note: 170 words Cleffa used Charm and Pound on Bellsprout.
The Bellsprout was a bit confused by the sudden appearance of the Cleffa to say the least. It was all fine and dandy to destroy the terrible machine that was polluting its home with noise but it didn't necessarily want to fight something. It stared at the pokemon as it leapt forward with a wink. The Bellsprout didn't really know what to make of this thing, it had never seen one before and thus it was caught completely off guard by the pound. Knocked back onto the ground the Bellsprout jumped back onto its spindly legs with ease before shaking its head in an effort to regain its senses. If it had to defend itself it would, but it still had absolutely no idea what was going on. Leaping forward it wrapped around the Cleffa and began slapping it with its leaves. Honestly it was less of an attack and more the kind of thing you would expect to see from a cranky child, holding your enemy at arm's length and then flailing about slapping weakly with your wrists as you tried to keep your head far enough away from getting slapped. Almost comical, but the tight squeeze of the Bellsprout as it held onto the Cleffa is what was actually hurting.
Ellie was confused by the whole ordeal as well, especially with Bellsprout wrapping its small body around Cleffa, with both of them having a "slap fight" with each other, but not doing a whole lot of damage against their respective opponents. However, it was clear to Ellie that Cleffa was being harmed by Bellsprout's grip, and she knew she had to do something about it. Ellie pulled out her diamond studded smartphone and hastily looked up Cleffa's moves online, and then commanded "Cleffa, use Sweet Kiss on Bellsprout!". Cleffa bided her trainer's call and kissed Bellsprout's root/leg thing. Ellie also gave a second command to the legendary Cleffa, "Once he's loosened his grip, show him everything you've got with Pound, Cleffa!". At this point, Cleffa was getting very angry at the Bellsprout for hurting her, and she was ready to channel this rage to her assault against the Bellsprout.
The Bellsprout leaned back as it was kissed, giving the other pokemon a strange look. It really had no idea what that thing was doing. In his momentary confusion the Cleffa slipped from his grasp and walloped him again. The grass pokemon went sliding backwards across the dirt until its roots dug into the ground. It straightened slowly, like a zombie rising from the grave before opening its mouth and sprewing a corrosive liquid in the general direction of the Cleffa like a malfunctioning sprinkler. It was having a hard time keeping its head still as the liquid spewed from its maw at the foe, the force of the attack making it hard to aim but she Bellsprout did manage to hose the entire area in front of it pretty thoroughly before it ran out of acid to spray.
Ellie fist pumped the air, cheering Cleffa on as she escaped from Bellsprout's planty clutches, and pounded Bellsprout with the fury of ten thousand suns, figuratively of course. Ellie and Cleffa observed Bellsprout as he planted himself on top of the ground, recollecting himself preparing for another assault against Cleffa. As Bellsprout started unleashing acid onto the area, Ellie shouted to Cleffa "Use Copycat and aim up, in Bellsprout's direction; then roll backwards, away from the acid!". Cleffa started panicking a bit, never having been in a situation like this, but she heeded Ellie's command and shot the same type of corrosive liquid at a high trajectory, aiming at Bellsprout. She tried to put her two tiny hands on her forehead, shouting "Cleffa, Cleffa!" in a distressed, high-pitched voice before rolling backwards like her trainer had instructed her to do so, trying to avoid the acidic liquid that was overtaking the battlefield.
For a moment both the Bellsprout and the Cleffa were spewing icky liquid all over the battlefield, the Bellsprout closed its mouth and stopped spraying once it saw the absurd scene of a Cleffa rolling about in a tizzy, spraying acidic fluid as it went. It had never seen the likes of this thing before. The Cleffa was absolutely confounding. The Bellsprout uprooted itself and trudged towards the rolling Cleffa, chasing it to and fro through pools of acid for a bit before finally cutting it off. The exhausted Bellsprout took a deep breath as it brought it's spindly arm back and slapped at the Cleffa with a vine whip.
Before either of Ellie or Cleffa could react to the Bellsprout that kept on soldiering on towards Cleffa, with painful vines ready to attack, Cleffa was struck by one of the vine whips, sending her back by a couple of meters, due to her very light weight. Ellie dramatically gasped, concerned about her first and only Pokemon's well being. She hurried over to Cleffa, holding it with tear stained eyes. In a moment of desperation, Ellie shook the injured Cleffa, asking her "Are you okay Cleffa? Please tell me you're okay!". Cleffa however, got up without much fuss, and glared the Bellsprout. Cleffa was fuming at this point; never had another Pokemon been so mean to her, and she was ready to make sure that he paid. Without Ellie even commanding her to do anything, Cleffa yelled angrily, "Cleffa!" before charging towards the Bellsprout, ready to give him one more good beat down.
The Bellsprout thought it had won when the trainer ran to her pokemon, that's how battles usually worked. Once the trainer got involved it was over. Despite being tired it strutted back towards the grass, only turning to face the other pokemon again when it shouted its name. By then it was too late. The Cleffa tackled it and both went rolling into tall grass. The sound of their tussle grew louder as the grass around them rustled and sent a flock of pidgeys flying away. After a few moments the Bellsprout stumbled out of the grass and for a moment it seemed as if it had won the fight, but it collapsed a moment later. Fainting from the injuries and exhaustion it had sustained. The bellsprout had no formal training and was a relatively weak pokemon. It also didn't help that it had absolutely no idea what was going on. The trainer and her pokemon had gotten lucky but it would take more then kisses and pounds to take down many other pokemon that they would encounter on their journey.
Ellie ran towards the grass, before grabbing the exhausted and badly wounded Cleffa and hugging her tight. Ellie was proud of her cutte little legendary Cleffa, and kissed her as she was returning Cleffa to her Pokeball. Ellie would have to go back to Yayli Town and bring Cleffa to the Pokemon Centre, so that she could recover from her intense battle against the Bellsprout. Luckily, Ellie's heels leave a very recognize footprint, so she was able to track her footprints and arrive at the town with no problem. She was exhausted and worn out, but it didn't matter, since she had come to the Pokemon Centre. Ellie had handed over Cleffa's Pokeball to the Nurse working there. Outside, it wasn't dark yet, but Ellie was very hungry, so she had decided seek out a restaurant in town. Ellie spotted a fancy restaurant close to the town centre, a marvellous building laid out with white marble. Now this was where people like Ellie ate.. Note: 164 words
