Ellie gracefully woke up in her luxurious hotel room, until she glanced at the clock and noticed that she had overslept and that it was past check-out time. She scrambled to get her stuff together, shoving everything she owned back into her giant purse. She ran down the stairs, not even opting for the elevator, until she came down to the front lobby. She told the man working the front desk at the hotel that she was checking out, and he promptly retrieved the room keys for Ellie and wished her a good day.
Later on that morning, she grabbed a breakfast pasty from the same cafe she met the weird man at yesterday evening. It tasted stale as she expected, but she definitely wasn't going to bring around her business to that awful "fancy" restaurant in town. Ellie picked up the newly rejuvenated Cleffa from the Pokemon Centre, and she headed out to Long Beach. Ellie decided to take the left road, remembering how her legendary Cleffa was almost beaten by a Bellsprout yesterday. After walking for a couple minutes on the road, she scouted around, looking for Pokemon to possibly capture.
In a shallow tide pool just off the path a pink head popped above the horizon. It moved slowly over the mossy rocks and soon the rest of the body came into view. It was a rather small, only about a foot tall but that was standard for a Shellos. The gooey sea slug turned and looked at the trainer, blinking a few times before slowly making its way back towards the tidal pool. The pokemon wanted to finish its foraging before high tide rolled in and brought the more dangerous pokemon with it.
Ellie spotted the little pink head blobbing along the water, coming closer to the shore. She didn't know what else she was expecting besides a Shellos, maybe a particularly blubby Corsola? Either way, Ellie wasn't impressed with the Pokemon that decided to grace Ellie with her presence. She sighed a bit, looking out for more exciting Pokemon to pop up. Ellie brought out a Dewgong blanket (not a blanket made of Dewgong, but a blanket with a Dewgong on it, just for the record), and lied down on it, bringing out Cleffa from her Pokeball as well. The two gazed at the endless ocean, enjoying the warmth of the summer sun and the oddly soothing noises of the Seagulls flying way up in the sky. Ellie took the opportunity to think of a name for Cleffa, and after a couple of minutes of wracking her brain, she decided on "Starmaker". Note: 150 words
Just enough time passed to allow the trainer to get comfortable before the next Pokemon appeared. From a nearby rocky crag came a Crabby. It skittered towards the water, pausing for a moment when it noticed the trainer. The trainer who just so happened to be sitting in its favorite sunning place. It walked up to the trainer, snapping its claws. It wasn't a large Pokemon but Krabby's were notoriously belligerent and had a solid grip. It made its displeasure at her choice of resting place clear as it ran back and forth snapping its claws at the edge of the blanket.
Ellie didn't notice the Krabby drawing closer and closer towards her until he was right beside her, snapping his little old claws, trying to intimidate her. While Ellie wasn't particularly afraid of the Krabby, she just wasn't very interested in battling it, much less capturing it. Ellie got her little blanket and wrapped Starmaker's bottom half of her small soft body with it, before walking a couple of meters away from her original spot, hoping that the location shift would please the Krabby. She wasn't very happy about going out of her way to appease a crab Pokemon, but if her new "occupation" as a Pokemon Trainer entailed having to suck up every once in a while, then she was willing to make sacrifices. Ellie placed the blanket on the fine sand, and Starmaker started digging a hole on the beach, using the dug up sand to make a sand castle of a sort. Ellie sat down on the blanket, observing the cute little Cleffa's legendary Pokemon style antics, while glancing at the shore now and then for more Pokemon to show up. Note: 183 words
After the trainer moved the Krabby seemed content to return to the waters edge, picking at rocks with its claws looking for any morsel of food. The tide rolled in every now and then, waves lapping against the rocks just in front of the trainer. Every now and then silhouettes of pokemon could be seen darting in and out with the waves, eating seaweed and moss which as growing on the rocks before the tide ebbed away once more. It was an elegant dance as the pokemon moved in sync with the waves, water obscuring their identifies to simple black shapes which would vanish as quickly as they had come. This continued for a short while until one of these pokemon got left behind. A Shellder was left stranded on a rock just to the side of the trainer. It didn't seem terribly worried though. It simply needed to wait until the time rolled in once more and it would be able to return to the sea.
As the tide rolled in and out again onto the beach, Ellie found herself feeling hungry as well. To alleviate this disastrous situation, she brought out a bowl of pre-packaged chicken caesar salad from her otherworldly large purse, before chowing down onto her food. Starmaker huffed, wanting something to eat as well. Ellie noticed this, and stopped eating to dig out some fancy Poketreats to feed the little Cleffa with. As Starmaker snatched her treats from Ellie, she contentedly sat down on the sand and bit off tiny little pieces out of the elaborately decorated Pokemon treat. Ellie continued eating her salad, still looking out for other Pokemon that she wanted to add to her team. She really enjoyed moments like this, the last couple of days had been very hectic for her, and it was nice having time to slow down and bond with her one and only Pokemon. A flash of pink, a soft cry. The waves rolled in again and deposited a wayward Luvdisc in a large tidepool just within Ellie's view. It peeked up out of the water and spied her, watching intently as if something was drawing it to her. Perhaps it just found her pokemon interesting, or maybe it was the food. Either way it wouldn't be long until the tide rolled in once more and when it did there was no certainty that the Luvdisc would remain within reach in the tide pool.
Ellie let out a sigh, she was more or less disappointed in the Pokemon that she had encountered today. However, both Ellie and Starmaker were tired of waiting, so she decided to battle the Luvdisc and move onto Route 1, the next leg of her journey to become the Pokemon Master. Cleffa perked up, noticing that Ellie was starting to get tense, in preparation for the battle. Ellie called out to the Luvdisc "Ready or not Luvdisc, here we come! Let's get this battle started with a Magical Leaf, Starmaker!". The charming little Cleffa complied, and jumped up, spinning it's circular fluffy around in the air, before releasing a small flurry of green glowing magical leafs at the Luvdisc's location. Ellie did not want the Luvdisc to have the home field advantage inside the water, so her plan was to have Starmaker unleash a ridiculous amount of magical leaves at the love fish Pokemon from a safe distance on the beach. Luckily for the Trainer & Pokemon duo, the leaves that Cleffa had unleashed on the unsuspecting Luvdisc were homing, so by nature, they could not miss or be evaded by the opposing Pokemon. The Luvdisc was a rather peaceful pokemon and the Cleffa's abrupt attack caught it off guard. It did, however, have time to submerge itself in the pool before the leaves hit. The attack was a rather advanced one for such a young pokemon who had very little battle experience, therefore it should come as no surprise that some leaves fizzled before reaching their target, even more detonated on impact with the water meaning very few actually reached their target. It was a good effort for a first attempt but more practice and training would likely be required. The Luvdisk looked only lightly injured as it popped its head back up out of the water and retorted with a water gun attack of its own.
Cleffa observed anxiously as she attempted Magical Leaf for the first time in her life, nevertheless, she did slightly better than she thought it would do. As Cleffa thought about how she could improve her offensive capabilities, she didn't notice the intense water gushing towards towards her. Ellie tried to warn the tiny Cleffa, "Starmaker, Luvdisc is using Water Gun, try to dodge it!", but it was too late. Cleffa was knocked backwards by the high pressure jet of water that the Luvdisc had unleashed on her. Thankfully, Luvdisc was fairly far enough to the point that the effects of the ability were slightly diminished by the distance between the two Pokemon, but Cleffa was still struggling to get up after the attack. Noticing that Cleffa was able to get up, Ellie issued her command "Starmaker, use Sweet Kiss and then try Magical Leaf again!". Cleffa nodded, feeling very determined. Starmaker blew a kiss at the Luvdisc, taking form of a heart that floated towards the Luvdisc, before unleashing a small flurry of sharp leaves at the Love Pokemon.
The pokemon recoiled as the kiss landed. It looked at the Cleffa confused, hardly noticing the magical leaf attack until it had already landed. The Luvdisc panicked and let out a pulse which sent water flying outward with surprising force. The pink pokemon floundered about in the now mostly empty tidepool. It had displaced most of the water in which it had been swimming but as the tide rolled in the pool began to fill again. It was hard to tell amidst all the floundering whether or not it was actually injured but it was likely to be.
Cleffa cheered herself on after she had unleashed her attacks on the wild Luvdisc, as she felt that her leafy attack was more effective than last time. Ellie grunted a bit, before noticing that the enemy Luvdisc was already unleashing her counterattack on Cleffa. Still observing from a safe distance away from the water, Ellie shouted to Cleffa, "Starmaker, use Copycat and try to stop Luvdisc' attack!". With a newfound feeling of determination, Starmaker started forming a condensed blue energy ball made of water from the tides that rolled onto the shore, before unleashing it towards the Luvdisc's attack, trying to nullify or at least slow down the water that was rapidly rushing in towards Cleffa. Starmaker was too badly injured to be able to dodge the Luvdisc's attack in time, so she went with the only option she had, which was "fight". Without needing her trainer to tell her to do anything else, Cleffa unleashed razor leaves at Luvdisc, just for assurance. Note: 163 words
The two attacks crashed into one another sending a misty spray of sea water up into the air, the Luvdiscs attack however proved the stronger of the two and carried forward. As the magical leaf attack cut through the water and into the Luvdisc once more the pokemon launched itself from the water and towards the Cleffa, channeling all its strength and momentum into a reckless take down attempt. One way or another this battle would be ending soon.

(I assume you meant magical leaf and not razor leaf in the last post)
