Anthony and Kim had the perfect party planned out for their daughter. As soon as she got back home with her very first Pokemon they would spring the surprise party. Friends, balloons, games and a friendly first battle before she departs on her Pokemon journey. They weren't an overly wealthy family but they had a nice home with a large balcony overlooking the coast. Then again almost everyone had a similar view here in Yumao. Their daughter had just departed and almost everything was ready, the balloons were being hung, the guests were arriving and the cake was on the balcony table... The cake was on the balcony table! Anthony rushed out, holding a tray to cover it but the damage had been done. A flock of wingulls had pecked half the cake away already. Despite his best efforts to scatter them he was far too late. Kim stepped out onto the balcony and put her hands on her hips. They looked at each other and sighed. "Finish setting up, i'll run and get another." She said, throwing her coat over her shoulder. Kim hardly made it out of the door before her phone rang. The present's she had ordered were ready to be picked up, when they were actually supposed to be delivered. Cake... or presents. Her husband was busy, and the guests were all children, her daughters friends... she'd called out of work for today. Everyone she knew would be working today and basically Kim needed to be in two places at once. Not something she could do. The woman ran her hands through her hair and looked both ways down the winding cliff side street.
She recognized a trainer when she saw one. "Hey. Hey." The woman waved the trainer down. "Can you do me a favor? I could really use an extra pair of hands. My daughter is getting a Pokemon today and her party is ruined. The Wingulls got into the cake and the present she wanted was supposed to be delivered but now they say i have to pick it up." The woman took a moment to compose herself. "I can call the bakery, have them make another cake but I need some one to pick it up for me so I can go get her gift." She looked a bit desperate. "Please?"

A cake was something he could make but time and ingredients were not. As for the present and cake he'd be more than glad to help.
"Absolutlely mam. Just give me a place and I'll get it taken care of."
"Klink go with this last and make sure the wingull stay away till it is all taken care of." As for the present I'm assuming that is the pokemon you mentioned. I'll get to that first. "
Daniel put his Aron in the pokeball and offered Klink s pokeball to the lady.
"Also can you give me the details on the cake so I can make sure they get it correct. I'd hate for them to rush and make a mistake. If they so I can at least fix it."

"No the present is a new bike, she is picking up her pokemon from the lab." The woman explained. "I'm going to pick it up now. Hang onto your pokemon just in case. The cake should look like a pokeball and have her name on it. I know the bakery's owner so there shouldn't be a problem" She looked a bit flustered, clearly wanting to get a move on. "Just head down this road, take the fourth left, there will be a long set of stairs that leads you to a plaza, the bakery is in there. It's called Caketurne, big logo of a Cacturne covered in sprinkles. Can't miss it. I'll call and let the bakery know you are coming. Please hurry." She said, jogging off down the street in the other direction.

Daniel didn't waste time nodding.
He recalled his pokemon and kept one ball in hand.
He tried to remember. She said it was down the road on the fifth left or was it the forth.
As he was muttering to himself Aron popped out of its ball and landed on his shoulder... Again like it tended to do.
It shook its left front foot 4 times.
"Wait 4th? "
He was not good at navigating cities. He remembered he was once in Cerulean and ended up somehow in the veridian forest.
This he hoped wouldn't be the same.
He ran down the street with haste. Recalling Aron due to its weight.
"Sorry buddy.I have to hurry. " he said.
He ran fast and almost slipped on a wet stone as he dashed around the corner to see some steps.
There were 3 stair cases.
Okay he thought as he tried to figure out which one it was.
Aron would be slow. But Klink wasn't slowed down to its bodies form. It floated which helped.
"Okay we have to find Caketurn has a cacturne on the sign. Look for a plaza. I hope we can get this done."
He ran departing from Klink who went over to the last stair case.
He meanwhile ran up the stairs he was looking at.
He stopped suddenly.
Note Assuming your gonna add something or make something happen q. Otherwise it wouldn't be a quest. So hit Mr with your best shot..

He'd taken the right path and the bakery's sign was displayed prominently before him in the plaza. The place seemed mostly empty, shops lined the streets and a central park stood just across from the establishment. So far this all seemed surprisingly easy. Pulling open the door with a jingle caused the staff to look up. A man was frantically icing a cake whilst his assistant did her best to spell out words and finish the design as soon as he was done with the frosting layer. He didn't even look up as the young man entered. "Ah good you're here. We're almost done." He said, finishing the sides of the cake and glancing up. His eyes widened. "Oh no." A young girl was walking across the street towards the bakery, pokeball in hand. "That's her. You've got to distract her." The man said gesturing to the girl, their families were friends and she frequently got treats from here. It was no surprise that she decided to stop by and show off her new pokemon, especially since the bakery was on the way home from the lab. If this party was to remain a surprise something needed to be done, and soon. If she saw the cake they would be done for, and this particular girl had a very keen eye for such things.

"Its her?" Daniel nodded towards the kid.
What bad luck. But Daniel was always good at navigating around bad luck.
What would distract her? What...he didn't want to do anything to rash.
"Put it in a cardboard box... I will make a distraction.." Daniel said as his klink had arrived. Just then he asked the baker for a quick whatever baked good. Something to celebrate Aron's birth day...which he wasn't sure what day it was but he had to pick. Maybe the girl would be excited about it being the same as hers.
Daniel then doubted it'd work he'd need to be able to send her elsware.
Then he had an idea.
Daniel knew bakers loved recipes.
He himself had a collection of 14 recipes unique in their own ways.
"Aron I need you to run with this envelope. Meet me at the girls house in an hour. Daniel said as he finally came up with the perfect plan.
The envelope actually contained a guide to kanto pokemon gym leaders. One he himself wrote. Aron may not be the fastest but when he wants to get going he goes.
He tied the envelope to Aron's back. And off Aron went....
He winked at the baker.
" Aron no Aron come back! Aron thus ran passed the girl and away from the bakery.
"Mrs I see you are a trainer...do you think you can help me get back my Aron he ran off again. " Daniel said to the little girl hoping it would work.
He would try to "intercept " Aron by going the "other" way and mean while the Aron would in all sense end up at the girls house.
It would be perfect.

"Oh no!" The girl exclaimed. "The Wingulls will snatch him up if he's alone." That's what the professor had told her anyway, though he had probably just been referring to her pokemon. She pulled a pokeball out of her pocket and enlarged it. "Kiwi let's gooooooooooo" She said, twirling and tossing the ball into the air. It opened in a burst of light, and a rather humdrum looking Venipede dropped to the ground with a squish. "Kiwi, we have to catch up to that Aron before the wingulls get it!" The pokemon blinked at her a few times with its lazy eyes before letting out a huff and skittering after the other pokemon. It was clearly in no hurry. "C'mon, C'mon." The young girl cried, picking the pokemon up and holding it at arm's length above her head. "Let me know if you see anything Kiwi." She said, turning back to Daniel. "Don't worry, we'll save the day. I'm the best at this, that's what mom says" The girl raced off down the street, tripping on a curb and landing face first in a planter. "I'm alright!" She called out before picking herself back up, tucking her pokemon under her arm and racing off around the corner.
Perhaps sending a girl who had just gotten her first pokemon off on her own wasn't the best idea but she'd be traveling the region soon. If she managed to get into trouble in her own city... when then she might just be a proper trainer after all. For now though Daniel's gambit had paid off. The girl was out of the picture but she'd catch the aron eventually and from there it was only a matter of time until she returned home.

Daniel went inside the bakery and switched his cost inside out. So it looked like he was a different person.he switched his shoes to another pair.
"Okay I don't have much time. Aron is a slippery brat but he make her busy." Daniel smiled.
So the cake was now in a cardboard box disguising its identity. He would or should be harder to identify.
If the girl does pass by she would see or notice him likely. He even had a balaklava over his face.
He confirmed all was done and ran out there door.
He almost slipped but he was thankful for his fast steadiness.
He ran over to the stairs and jumped on the rail sliding down which gave him just a little more time to spare.
He continued running and eventually arrived at the intersection he had first met the woman....in the distance he could have swore he had heard the girls voice.
Reminded him of his times turning bad a few years ago. But it was helpful now.
He ran towards the door. It was then he noticed klink beside him with a fancy foldable bike. Using its static it had gotten it while Daniel was preoccupied with the cake and the girl. Daniel returned klink and his the bike in his bag.
Daniel finally found the place. It was honestly luck as he could see balloons and everything from outside the window almost 50 yards away..damn good thing he's eating his carrots.
He turned and ran over to the 12 ft high biege fence which he had no issue climbing over..."eh try doing that one handed. "
He turned around asking a woman who was startled. "Is Mrs. Kim her I have a package from cacturns." He said trying to find her.

Kim had been retrieving the bike for her daughter. When she got back to the house she noticed the trainer with the second cake that she order."Oh you are back!" She quickly handed off the bike to her husband who stuck a bow on it and set it by the table. "And you got the cake! Thank you so much!" The mother took the cake from the trainer and set it on the table so that her daughter would be able to recognize the party for her right away. She then proceeded to usher everyone together into some formation that was eagerly awaiting the arrival of the girl. After a moment of waiting Kim's face transformed into one of concern. Her daughter should have been home by now. What was taking her so long? "Please, trainer," she called out, walking over to the trainer that had previously helped her, "Can you go find my daughter? She should be here by now. I fear that something has happened."
The mother turned to her husband, "Anthony, give him the picture of our little girl from your wallet. He has to help her!" The husband nodded and fished out the small school photo from his wallet. He was quick to hand it over to the trainer. "Please go! You have to find her!"

Daniel nodded. It was odd. Aron was supposed to lead her here. But he wasn't here yet.
He didn't want them to know he had her chase his pokemon.
Daniel quickly grabbed the photo and ran back towards the cacturn themed bakery. It was where they last met and maybe the girl had caught aron and brought her back there. If not Manetric would undoubtedly be able to follow the scent.
Daniel ran faster than earlier. Something was off. But he didn't know what. Aron was a slippery bugger so it was unlikely that she grabbed him.
Did something happen?
He arrived to the bakery to see if the girl returned there or if the family there had seen the girl since earlier.

Standing in the bakery was the daughter. At her feet were a Venipede and Aron both happily eating cookies. The girl herself was picking out various treats for herself. When the door to the bakery opened, she turned to see the man that had lost his Pokemon. Gleefully, she picked up the snacking Aron and walked it to the trainer. "I caught him alright for you! He was digging in a dumpster so I thought a cookie might be a better meal for him." The girl giggled before grabbing her bounty of treats from the baker. She picked up her little bug Pokemon before skipping out of the bakery, on her way back home. The whole cause for the worry was a little girl in a bakery. Nothing out of the ordinary there. Daniel could finally return to the mother and collect his reward for helping save the party.

Daniel smiled realizing he was super lucky. He glared at aron for his failed task. But he didn't wanna make it any more of a deal.
"Thank-you. So much. " Daniel said. "Just because its your birthday doesn't meanyou can run off. But at least you got yourself a cookie. " Daniel said smiling.
He grabbed aron.
Manetric, klink, budew, and Yamnask all came out. All were happy to see that aron was okay

Back at the house, the daughter was surprised to see such a lovely party with all of her friends. She enjoyed the cake that Daniel had retrieved and loved all of the presents that her family had gotten her. It was the perfect send off before her big journey as a Pokemon trainer began. Kim was relieved that everything had gone so well after turning sour so rapidly. She had the trainer to thank for that. He had kindly dropped what she had been doing to help out a poor, distraught mother. When he came back she took her daughters picture from him and graciously thanked him for saving the day. "It isn't much but it is what we have. Thank you for getting that cake. It would not have been a complete birthday party without it!" She gave the trainer what little she had, 500 Pokedollars and a great ball.
