"Hey Starly, move out the way!" Davey shouted as he beeped the horn of his new convertible. He had gotten his license a while ago but hardly got the chance to drive. The excuse as to why he hasn't had the chance to drive is the same excuse for everything else- movies, interviews and fashion shows, etc.. He just couldn't get away from it and its not like he wanted to anyway. "Jigglypuff!" Angel waved her fist angrily at the starly when it refused to move. Davey glanced over at Angel, who was in the passenger seat, twice. He wasn't exactly use to how the pokémon sounded now. He wasn't use to her new form either. The actor, who wanted Angel to be his little igglybuff forever, didn't get the concept of evolution for baby pokémon yet. He didn't understand that there are different rules. A baby pokémon evolved due to friendship and Angel and he are truly the definition of best friends.
The starly refused to move up until the second Davey slammed on his breaks and the car barely touched it. Angel was not wearing a seatbelt and went flying out the hoodless car. It was too late for him to do anything but scream the pokémon's name and get out the car. The pokémon seemed to disappear behind a few very tall trees. "My poor baby! Oh my Angel! I just have to get her." Davey's bag was sitting in the back seat and he quickly reached into it and took out a pokeball. "My darling Chickadee come on out!" Davey threw the ball and watched a cheerful torchic come out.
"I know you just hatched and all but I need your help! We need to find Angel!" Davey scooped up the pokémon and started running in the direction of his pokémon.
OOC: I'm looking to catch any Fairy or Pyschic type
All that day, she had been minding her own business. The Flabebe had gotten water for her flower and been sunbathing it for a while so that it would be nice and healthy. That was when a Pokemon flew overhead screaming. The nerves of that creature! Why was it flying about in the air disturbing the peace and being generally upsetting in its screams. The little fairy grumbled to herself before picking up her flower and floating in the direction of the screaming Pokemon. She needed to do the world justice by telling that Pokemon that it should not be screaming as it flies through the air. Just as she caught the trail of the pink blur, something strange happened. A trainer and his Torchic came whizzing by, disturbing the air so much that it caused the Flabebe to spiral out of control.
The little fairy was furious now. How could Pokemon and trainers be so disrespectful? Was that day just ignore all of your manners day? She would have to teach all of them a lesson. With a sudden burst of energy, the Pokemon flew forward, a trail of pink energy followed her, raining down on everything she passed. That just so happened to be the trainer and his Torchic. Hopefully that little attack would put them in their place.
Davey hardly paid attention to where he was going. The actor's focus was on the sad-eyed jigglypuff flying through the air. He felt so bad. This was all his fault. He didn't know why he felt like this was his fault, it just was. He felt like he could somehow avoid this. "Oh, we just have to catch her in time!" His eyes stung with tears. If he didn't get to her in time he would just cry. Angel was his best friend, his partner in crime! What would he do without her? He didn't notice the cute little flabebe as he ran but it was most certain she saw him. The pink dust sort of caught him off guard but he was running so fast, he could hardly stop! Davey and his torchic ran into it and almost instantly fell down trying to get themselves together. The torchic, being a baby still, started to cry but out of anger. She spotted the flabebe before he did and Chickadee was quick to take her anger out on it, using ember. Whisp of fire came out her mouth, quick to reach the fairy type.
Davey spotter the Flabebe once the ember headed her direction. "Please, we do not have time for a battle!" He quietly began to cry. "My lovely jigglypuff is in trouble!!"
The attack hit, causing the small Torchic to let out a wail. The opponent did not let any time pass before it retaliated with an ember. The flames were headed straight for the little fairy and there wasn't much she could do to avoid it. The wind was preventing her from moving too much and the attack was too fast. The flames engulfed the little Flabebe, causing her to let out a small shriek in pain. After the flames stopped the trainer said something but the fairy wasn't paying attention. Instead, she was plotting her next move.
The little Pokemon raised her arms as leaves began to lift up from the ground, surrounding her and the flower she rested on. With a swift drop of her arm, the leaves flew forward towards the little orange bird.
Davey flinched when Chickadee's move hit the flabebe head on. He felt so bad. Despite the pokémon's small form, he could see the hurt in her eyes and the pain she felt when the ember hit her. But she didn't let that get her down. She soon recovered from the move and began summoning a rather large amount of leaves. The leaves seemed to change colors a bit as it rises from the ground, surrounding the flabebe. "Please don't." Davey shook his head. He didn't have time for this. He had to retrieve his flying pokémon. The flabebe ignored him anyways, firing those razor leaves at his beloved torchic, who seemed to be in more pain. The leaves scratched the poor thing up, Chickadee let out a piercing cry as she fell once again. Davey did not like this. He had to do something.
"Chickadee, get up and use that move one more time!" He couldn't call it ember, she didn't exactly know the names of her moves yet.
The torchic listened though, her trainer's own energy flowing through her. The firey tuffs of fire came at her yet again and Davey didn't wait to see if it got her, quickly taking out a pokeball and tossing it at the flabebe.
Once again, a tunnel of fire was aimed straight for the little fairy. She shifted her flower in an attempt to dodge the flames but it was no use. The attack was too wide and too fast to be avoided. The Flabebe flew backwards from the impact of the attack. It was in her descent through the air that she saw a small ball heading straight towards her. She would not fall this easily. The ball encased her, falling to the ground before it started to wiggle. The Pokemon was struggling against the capture but it was no use, the ball clicked shut, forever sealing her fate.
YOU CAUGHT A FEMALE FLABEBE
. Flabebe || Female || Flower Veil The Flabebe is a quiet one. She doesn't like to talk much but instead she rather likes to observe others and analyze what they are doing. She is the definition of a wallflower. Well, until the moment something goes wrong. Her temper is easily flared and once it is she becomes a powerhouse of anger.
"I can't believe it." Davey's jaw dropped. He couldn't believe he caught his first pokémon! Ironically, he really wasn't trying to catch the pokémon, he was really trying to distract it so that he and Chickie could escape. "If only catching that Skitty would've been this easy... if only catching sylveon that cute little grey cat pokémon will be this easy." He laughed as he picked up the ball, staring at it. "My darling new pokédex, come on out!" He threw it up. The pokémon quietly came out, staring at Davey with hatred in her eyes. "I'm sorry for the battle... are you okay?" The pokémon's stare softened a bit and she smiled, nodding a bit. All she wanted was an apology. "Good... um, I think I'll call you Pixie Dust. Because you're the size of a fairy in those tales and your fairy wind..." The pokémon almost seemed delighted with her new name.
"You like it? Good! If you don't mind, we have to look for a mate of ours! And now that you're apart of the team, you must help us!" Davey had just remembered his flying pokémon and he was quick to take off with Chickadee and Pixie dust following close behind. Word Count: 216
There was a Taillow that had been casually flying across the sky, adding to the scenery of clouds and the sun when BAM. It hit him. And it, was a Pokemon that had not been paying attention to where it had been flying. The Taillow was an expert flyer though and quickly shifted his weight around, catching the Pokemon in his claws. He looked below himself to see that he had caught a Jigglypuff. "Hey, when did you get some wings?" He cackled at his own joke. If there was one thing he knew about pink little floofs, it was that they did not nor never had wings. But... There was a reason that the little pink Pokemon would have been soaring through the sky. They were an extremely bouncy Pokemon and if dropped...
The Taillow raised himself from the ground a little before he let go of the Jigglypuff, watching as it fell to the ground before bouncing back up and into his talons. He cackled wildly, laughing so hard that he forgot to keep himself airborne, causing the pairing to begin falling. The bird realized his mistake and quickly caught them. He was soon to resume the bouncing of the Jigglpuff though, this was his new favorite toy.
The jigglypuff was becoming very upset. What was taking her trainer so long? She was just a few feet from falling and right now, she did not care. Angel knew she would cushion her own fall, she was a ball of fluff for Arceus sake. The time had almost come and she was so close to touching the ground. That was until claws dug into her skin, grabbing her and taking her a bit higher than intended. "What the fluff? Get off of me you ugly bird! I swear, if you don't-" The bird hardly let her finish, letting go and watching her hit the ground and bounce back up. "I'm going to kill you! I'm going to rip your heart out birdy!" The bird seemed to find this amusing, which upset the jigglypuff even more and she wouldn't be the only one upset.
Davey finally spotted his pretty pokémon and he couldn't help but call her name. He saw the bird coming and was heartbroken to see him scoop her up. "Let her go! She's not a toy!" He shouted. At first, he thought the taillow was mistaken her for something else. When he finally caught up to the bird and Angel, he saw that the pokémon was deliberately bouncing her up and down. Davey's entire mood change. No one messed with his baby.
"How dare you!!" He called out angrily as he pointed at the taillow. "Chickie, use uh... that move from earlier today!"
The torchic knew what he was talking about, quick to aim and spit fire. Pixie Dust took it upon herself to join in and use fairy wind.
Torchic used Ember! Flabebe used Fairy Wind! Word Count: 285
It was only after a few seconds of enjoying his new toy that a trainer came along and ruined all of the fun. He was shouting this and that but the Taillow mostly did not care until a blast of fire was coming straight at him. He shifted himself, causing the Jigglypuff in his talons to take the hit for him. The bird laughed wildly, forgetting that there would probably be more than one attack. The fairy wind took him by surprise and caused him to drop the poor pink ball onto the ground, sending her bouncing.
He was quick to retaliate though, locating the fire type as well as the bouncing Pokemon. The flying Pokemon swooped down, his wings radiating energy as he picked up speed. Target, Torchic. Destination, Jiigglypuff. He needed his toy to safely protect himself from the damage the trainer would soon be causing.
"Oh no!" Was all the trainer could say as he watched Chickie's ember hit Angel instead of that ugly bird. The jigglypuff was in pain, he could see it. Angel wasn't doing too well now and she most likely needed to go to the pokémon center. The ember might've missed but that fairy wind attack was spot on. Pixie Dust knew what she was doing, she was a pretty skilled battler and probably much more experienced than both Chickie and Angel. "Good job Pixie Dust." Davey smiled at the small pokémon before taking out his pokédex and quickly looking up the moves of a flabebe. But he couldn't of picked a worse time to that than now.
He was not paying much attention to the bird in the sky and his pokémon weren't either. Davey hardly noticed Angel was released from the taillow's grip. The taillow moved pretty fast and before he knew it, Chickadee was hit pretty hard by that wing attack. She went down crying and screaming, which made Davey turn away from his pokédex. He came to his pokémon's aid, scooping her up in his arms and holding her close to his chest. Chickadee couldn't handle much. "That's it you stupid bird! Pixie Dust use vine whip!"
Pixie Dust shot two long vines out, which moved toward the taillow.
