VIKTOR"My friend, we will be doing the catching of the pokemon today." He reached up and scratched the chin on the Hoothoot that was perched on his right shoulder. It cooed and leaned into him, enjoying the affection. "I know, very exciting." He said, turning to face the other almost identical bird pokemon that was sitting on his left shoulder. "You would like to do battling today?" The moustached man asked his pokemon, who chirped its name eagerly in response. "That is my hoot." He said and patted it's head. The other protested the sudden lack of attention so Viktor patted that one as well. "you are loved as well other hoot."He strolled down the route pushing his hand cart of wares as he watched for any signs of pokemon. He was always on the lookout for pokemon he could catch. Either so he could make money or add them to his own personal collection. Viktor had recently sold most of his eggs and sent a majority of the money home to his mother which left him with little cash on hand. He needed to reestablish his selection quickly but business had never been to hard for Viktor. He was always able to make money, the question was how quickly he could manage it this time. For now he could start by catching a few more pokemon. He would work with anything but there were a select few pokemon that were in high demand. The cute ones, the he strong ones but especially the elegant ones. Every pokemon was beautiful to Viktor but most other people had somewhat more discerning taste and as his mother always said 'the customer is always right.' He aimed to provide exactly what his customers were looking for, or perhaps what they did not yet know they needed. Be it pokemon or item they could rest assured that if Viktor did not have it today, he could get it soon enough. He smiled and kept his eyes peeled for pokemon, this may be business but that didn't mean that Viktor couldn't enjoy his work. Noe

| There were two things that Spritzee loved to do. One was go on dates, well, it was a bit more complicated than that. A lot of trainers came and picnic'd on Route 2 with their lovers because of the alluring forest's edge and the beautiful plains behind them. The Pokemon liked to crash these dates and entice the trainers into feeding her the expensive foods and wines. The second thing that the wild Pokemon liked to do was collect shiny things and the easiest way to do that was distract trainers walking down the route and use some slight of hand to get the shiny objects. She had a tree on the edge of the forest packed full with little treasures that she had collected over the years from looking adorable.
It was that particular day that she saw something that was potentially a jackpot. There was a man pushing a cart right down Route 2 and while she did not see anything reflecting the sunlight, if she dug around in the cart for a moment she could possibly find quite a few treasures to hide in her feathers. The Spritzee fluttered over to the cart and landed on it. She cocked her head to the trainer and let out a soft cry, fluttering her eyelashes in the process, trying her best to look extremely adorable. |

VIKTORThe man made his way down the route, happily humming to himself and calling out to various travelers as he passed, asking them if they would be interested in taking a look at his wares. So far none of them had been but it seemed that his cart of odds and ends had not gone unnoticed. A small pink pokemon landed atop his cart, perching itself on the edge as it flittered about for a moment. The hoothoot on Viktor's left shoulder ruffled up it's feathers, prepared for battle but the man stopped his pokemon short. "Hoot, we are polite to guests are we not." He chided, Viktor had no qualms about catching a pokemon through battle, in fact he almost always did but every now and then he had a chance to interact with wild pokemon and he cherished these moments. "Such a beautiful hue, very pretty. My friend, how have you not yet found a forever home?" The man asked, the bird pokemon on his shoulder watching intently. The pair was almost indistinguishable though one was clearly more tense than the other. It was his turn to help catch today and the battling pokemon always got the most treats and praise when they were done. If the other pokemon hadn't been so adorable the hoothoot could have been earning it's snacks already. "Mother would love you. Viktor, she would say, this is the most beautiful bird i have ever seen. Mother is always right." He said with a hearty laugh which prompted both of his Hoothoots to look at him, a bit upset. He was always telling them that they were the most beautiful birds. She man stopped laughing abruptly when he saw the look on his Hoothoot's face. "Is joke!" He said turning to his pokemon. "Mother does not see so well anymore, funny yes?" He gave them each a friendly scratch but clearly he had ruffled their feathers a bit by complementing the other pokemon. The one on his right shoulder flew off and perched in a nearby tree looking displeased. "Do not be this way my lovely Hoot. Come down from there." He said walking towards the tree and leaving his cart momentarily unguarded. There was nothing too valuable in there anyway, nothing that couldn't be bought from a pokemart, along with some little baubles he had found during his travels. As Viktor tried to talk his pokemon down from the tree the Hoothoot that was still on his shoulder watched the Spritzee intently, it's head swiveling to keep an eye on the other pokemon. It wasn't about to let such a valuable prize fly away just because Viktor was distracted by his own bird's feelings. That is how it usually worked though, Viktor sold, trained and bred the pokemon but his Hoothoots did all the work acquiring them. Noe

| The owner of the cart was talking but the Spritzee was barely paying attention. Her mind was focused on the cart that she was perched on. From a distance she hadn't seen anything shiny but now that she was closer she could see inside a little better. So far her eyes had yet to locate anything reflecting the sunlight but that could just be because of the shadows or perhaps even the angle that she was at. With those thoughts the trainer suddenly walked away. The little pink bird looked up to see him heading towards a tree where a hoot hoot was sitting. Oh, his Pokemon was jealous. This was the perfect opportunity for the bird.
She hopped to the other side of the cart and peered inside. Nothing yet. Well, perhaps the treasures were buried underneath all of the worthless junk on top. The Spritzee began to pull things back with her beak as she dug her way deeper into the cart. Then she saw it. Small, reflective balls there were covered in decorative paints. Her treasures. She started to pick each one up in her beak but realized she would not be able to escape like that. They were too big and round to tuck neatly in her feathers without coming loose during flight. The struggle was real. She picked up a few more with her feet before she fluttered up, planning on exiting the cart. She had a total of seven of the balls, four in her feet and three in her beak. Her eyes looked to where the trainer had been, hoping to make a clean get-away. |

VIKTORViktor was still focused on talking his Hoothoot down from the three when the pink pokemon decided to make off with its loot. It might have gotten away with it to if it weren't for Viktors other meddling Hoothoot. As soon as it saw the Spritzee take off the Hoothoot left its perch on his shoulder and took off in hot pursuit, it's small wings fluttering a mile a minute as it tried to catch up. Viktor turned to look as it left his shoulder, only then noticing the other little birds attempted getaway. "Do not let it escape." He said waving his arms and bounding off after the two, his other Hoothoot reluctantly following the chase. "Hoot. Use the confusion!" He called from below, awkwardly running as he tried to keep his eyes on the two airborne pokemon. -Confusion Noe

| It was in her great escape that a force of energy hit the little Spritzee, sending her treasures flying to the ground. How rude! She was simply trying to steal and this Hoot Hoot was in her way. Well, she would surely have to teach it a lesson before she continued her thievery. The bird regained her bearings and flew over to the owl. She leaned in and gently kissed the enemy on the cheek, giving out a light giggle as energy left the Hoot Hoot and absorbed into the Spritzee. She was quick to flutter away, putting distance between the two again. Staying in close quarters like that was something she did not want to do. Turn 1/4 Attacks; Draining Kiss |
